He has one standard to base his votes on - his hatred for Trump, thus I don’t believe he will vote for anything, any bill, while Trump is POTUS.
He’s no better than collins, another liberal democrat somehow in hock to the enemy. They love the grandstanding that attends their no vote, but when it comes to proposing a workable solution and its details, they stay on the sideline and take a knee like the cowards they are. McCain never learned a lesson in the Navy that says it’s not enough to complain about a situation; you must offer an alternative. You beat me to it - this is what I think. Any bill that fulfills a promise Trump made to the American people will be a ‘no’ from McCain. Small, petty, thin-skinned, bitter man, & a sorry excuse for supposedly being a representative of the people, many of whom are begging for relief from Obamacare. Trump will be here a long time after McCain is gone & I’m sure that irks McCain to no end.
This is not about improving medical care, about bipartisanship, or even about liking Obamacare. McCain doesn’t care if this bankrupts the country or kills sick Americans. McCain’s last vote is about Trump. By his actions, he is quoting Herman Melville:
