The actor probably figured since the play is closing out he’ll try and launch himself and make a scene saying he opposed the play and supports the lies.
Let's not forget that this was the core statement of Kapernick's kneeling protest that started the NFL protest. The NFL has tried to water this down by proclaiming that it is a protest about social justice in general. What the NFL is actually supporting is a claim that the police are systematically murdering blacks.
