Was Herman Cain ever proven to be guilty or innocent of the accusations by women?

It all just went away once he stepped down from running.

The Dems just wanted to force him out.

Private investigator TJ Ward used lie detection software used by law enforcement to analyze Cain's versus Bialek's statements. The results showed Herman Cain was not lying and that Bialek was. Bialek had a long history of shady gold-digging ploys. Bialek was a close neighbor to Obama's campaign manager David Axelrod in Chicago.

Ginger White was not accusing Cain of illegal activity, only of an extramarital with herself. She apologized for the trouble she caused Cain's wife and shut up about it as soon as Cain dropped out of the race but did not recant her story. White had previously been accused of fabricating stories and previously lost a libel suit against her by Kimberly Vay, her former partner in a fitness coaching business after White sent a "defamatory" note to an email list of the company's clients and to city officials. Phone records were consistent with Cain's version of their friendship and White's agreement that he helped her financially for years supports the friendship story but nothing more. White had received eviction notices on at least three occasions and was desperate. Cain believes she thought the notoriety would bring her financial relief.

Cannot “prove” innocence.... the finding is guilty or not guilty, IIRC.

Herman Cain is just one example of why Judge Moore should never ever drop out.

Never.

I’m still mad about that one. Cain would have crushed Obama.

I made a big (for me) donation to Cain in the Primary.

Neither. He denied it. At least two of those accusing him received settlements from the Restaurant Association. It was a he said/she said, just like Moore.

Of course, the media will drop it: the mission is completed - smearing a conservative (esp. a black one), forcing him out of the public eye, and chalking-up another victory for leftist identify politics.

All goals were achieved.

Cain was a trial run. Once that was successful, they threw the same tactics at Trump and now Moore.

The real question is: which Dem group or funder is funneling money to Gloria Allred to run these operations and bribe the false accusers? Find that money trail and lock em all up.

Mr Cain was also CEO of Godfather Pizza. Frankly I’m surprised that Cuomo, Pelosi, Torricelli, etc didn’t come out of the woodwork taking him to task over the name “Godfather” How it evokes negative stereotypes of Italian Americans being mobbed up, accusing him of insensitivity.

I agree. I was for Cain all the way, amongst ANY of the GOPE candidates. In hindsight, Cain just GAVE UP and didn’t put up a fight. I still remember the threads back then and Freepers were mad he would not fight back against the accusations. I dont want a president who just goes limp when the odds are against him unlike Trump.

“Cain just GAVE UP and didn’t put up a fight.”

IIRC, there were other similar accusations that Cain _did_ fight.
Then came “why are you sending Miss X $2000/mo?” and he just shut up & dropped out.

Sometimes there IS an embarrassing past. Gracefully exiting, then or before, is preferred to a protracted fight that _will_ be lost.

Yes, but that was just one accuser, and that has happened plenty of times. Cain is the first one I can remember where multiple accusers were trotted out simultaneously. It was a new strategy, hoping to drown out any doubts about the authenticity of the stories with the sheer volume of accusations.

CLUE: Unlike Trump...., Herman Cain is not a Teflon Billionaire!!! Just be thankful that the "Donald" has the cajones and BILLIONS to endure the constant attacks against him while "Draining the Swamp" which, is by no means, an accomplishment at this point!

Reality check.

Cain didn’t “give up”.
He simply didn’t have the money for the legal processes and he said so at the time and has reiterated that point since.

I voted for him as a write in, since I oppose Islam in general and the Yazidi genocide which McCain facilitated.

Herman Cain is one of the smartest, most common sense people I’ve ever heard. A great self made man. A pure hit job, no doubt.
