TAX THE RICH? I say to hell with them

Posted on 12/26/2017 6:59:40 AM PST by DIRTYSECRET

Reagan was their best friend so what do they do? They vote Democrat and try to make the rest of us feel guilty(with the MSM's help). The good news is that Trump is not their friend. The $10k mortgage deduction limit will do the most to prove it. Does ANYONE need help to purchase a million dollar house? They can buy a cheaper one and commute like the rest of us.

Most of the top 1-2% still see tax cuts. It’s just too income earners in a handful of liberal states and yes they are overwhelmingly democrat

The new tax reform bill does not impact current mortgages. The limit for mortgage interest deductions has been reduced to $750,000 from $1 million.

The $10,000 cap is for property, sales, and state income taxes.

Everything you need to know about the GOP’s final tax plan in 3 charts

Remember: “Mr. President: Please raise my taxes”? That’s something else. Let the Buffets and the Bill Gates types speak out with their bigger microphone. The press will lead you to believe they got their money the ‘responsible’ way because they talk the social justice line. They think they speak for the million dollar homeowners. The new mortgage deduction rules will separate them from these billionaires. California and New York hit the hardest. Heh heh.

Whatever you tax you get less of.

Whatever you subsidize you get more of.

So, let’s subsidize the rich and tax the poor!...................

Oh so it’s the poor people that hire you and give you a job. Got it. And in this country of supposedly equal opportunity it’s fair to tax people unequally if you think the can afford it. Got that as well. Why don’t you move to some socialist paradise where they agree with you

State income tax deduction-THAT’S THE ONE! Doesn’t it make you want to say GOOD! Don’t. It’s NJ + Illinois in addition to NY and the left coast. Just think of the pressure it will put on those states to lower taxes. Trump is the man!

The rich don’t need a mortgage to buy a house but why not? They finance 80% anyway. The taxpayers get to subsidize their interest on the loan and the rich get to shelter some income. Makes sense to me. Just taking advantage of one of those stupid ideas congress came up with to help the so called poor to own a home.

There should be no one NOT taxed. Ten percent should be the rate. If is good enough for God, it should be good enough for man, woman, and beast.

Hence all the fuss about this tax bill. The Left controlled states know they’re going to be exposed when the people can no longer claim the full deduction on their return.

People who don’t pay tax should not vote. Simple as that.

Agreed. SALT should not be deductible either. Let those tax heavy states cover there own costs, and may their citizens vote accordingly.

“There should be no one NOT taxed

I’ll go you one better. Eliminate the income tax completely.

The government creates money by computer, decreasing the purchasing power by a couple % per annum.

Print a specified amount per year, control spends NT by law and we the people free.

Yeah thank you. This is the most asinine thread with the most asinine anti capitalist responses i’ve seen on FR.

“most of the rich are from the northeast anyway!!”

Must have been a sale for ignorant asses on this thread because there’s plenty.

Don’t remember a more embarrassing thread with more stupid, Daily KOS responses than this one in a long time.

A++ for your post.

When you’re a kid, you’re told to study hard, work hard, and become successful in your chosen field of endeavor.

And then when you do, you’re demonized, called names, and have your money confiscated by the out-of-control government and handed over to someone who hasn’t earned YOUR hard earned money.

If the top 1% earns 19% of the country’s income, they should pay 19% of the income tax, NOT 38 - 40%. Why punish the people who make the country work, and who create most of the jobs? That’s the democrats (and some RINOs) game plan.

Sean Hannity always says that over the years, he was never hired by a poor person.

Whatever you tax you get less of.

Whatever you subsidize you get more of.

True, and also Natural Economic Law, which cannot be changed by man.

It is the Market that demonstrates this truism, but unfortunately, the market usually does not respond quickly enough to be obvious to the uninformed.

All "The Rich" are not the problem, just "The Rich" that try to manipulate the Market through Socialism, Crony Capitalism (Fascism) and Virtue Signalling Propaganda.

"The Rich" that simply try to observe, understand, predict and respond to The Market are NOT the problem, and we should call them "Business Men" as what they desire is an opportunity to compete.

DJT is one of these "Business Men".

This is why the Socialist Left, Crony RINOs and Prog Rich Bastards are desperate to block President Trump's agenda, because The Market will prove him right, and the Prog Propaganda wrong in a little time, something the traitor Rats don't have much of.
