I heard the following from Steve Bannon and some other Trump insiders.
2017 the 1st year of President Trump was the of Salvage. For instance, focus on saving the economy, tax cuts, rebuilding the military, the Supreme Court, getting rid of Obamacare, TPP and drilling in Alaska.
2018 the 2nd year of President Trump will be the year of destruction. President Trump will be draining the Swamp to put it mildly.
When President Trump issued his Executive Order last month on Human Trafficking. It was no coincidence that the CEO of Alphabet (AKA Google) stepped down that same day.

Watched the video, and so far, I’d put it in the “fantasy” category. However, there is at least one prediction that will either come true or not, and there is no way of hiding the result: At least 30 members of Congress will not return after their current holiday recess. If that one hits, I will up my credibility for this stuff. Hope they don’t mean just counting who shows up versus who is temporarily absent (sick, family concerns, too damn lazy). I take the prediction to mean “out of Congress permanently”, but they don’t exactly say that. We’ll see
Just wonder how the msm will spin the evil of their protected DNC when all of the crimes of these people come out of the darkness into the light.

I think you are right that Congress is officially “working” again as of today. Not sure if that’s for real or pro-forma. So I’d cut the prediction a little slack until actual committee meetings and votes are at least beginning to happen.

Sometimes I wonder just how much of this #metooism that’s striking the liberals hard came out of Mr. Trump’s opposition research.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. He’s a BSer. Columbia School of Jouralism has bad things to say about the author so how big of a deal can journalists possibly make? Most of them went to school there.
