I don’t get the outrage. This sort of stuff has been going on since, at least, the cointelpro days.

Amoral, spiritually dead people will elect amoral, spiritually dead politicians who will in turn do amoral, spiritually dead things. And yet we think we’re going to fix this by electing a particular flavor of politician?
