Democrats have decided to back the concerns of illegal aliens instead of the American citizens
You can tell what scares Democrats, by what they aren’t talking about.
Democrats, in the form of Senator Chuck Schumer and now Representative Luis Gutierrez have indirectly given away Democrat fears. First, Senator Schumer came out of his Whitehouse meeting with President Trump, claiming that he had offered some compromise with the President on the wall.
Replacing lottery/chain migration with a merit-based system is what scares them.
Sure would be nice if we had more than 4-5 Senators on our side.
The lottery only brings in 50,000 per year. Ending that doesn’t scare him more than a wall.
The article fails to drive home the point that the Dems want these illegals for their VOTES.
exactly right, smart, professional immigrants, who can contribute to the great fabric of American society, are usually republican/conservative in their outlook on life....
the low layabout bums, are what the dems need, and what they want to continue importing, to build their voter base and keep their voter base....
Trump will need to veto.

Rats need that constant influx of “have-nots” to turn them into “gimmiedats” in order to stay in power.
Normal immigrants have a tendency to move from “have-nots” to “haves” in a generation or so. Once they become “haves” and have to should the tax burden of paying for “have-nots” the Rat party rhetoric isn’t as attractive.
With this current crop of “have-nots” the rats think they have struck gold, given that in many cases they are even literate in their native languages let alone English. The will be particularly hard to assimilate (particularly the Muslims!) so there will plenty of work for civil rights lawyers. It’s solid gold for Rats!

Trump has flipped the script on DACA and the wall. Going forward Trump will be able to paint any government shutdown as a Brian art choice between illeagles and Americans.

You’re exactly right. The Senate can pass anything they want regarding immigration, but the House will never pass it. More kabuki theater.
President Trump would have no qualms vetoing amnesty. He has laid out his requirements quite well.
Damn right. I laugh at these snowflakes thinking they can immigrate to Canada just like THAT. My GF is Canadian by way of Norway. They keep SHRINKING their immigration every year allowed and their exit interviews are like FBI interrogation scenes. They want to know your family’s income, properties, education, skills etc because they dont want you be leech to the system. If only they can apply that practice here..
