Remember when Barack Obama followed the advice of the NRA and conceded that "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun?
It’s almost like a page right out of the National Rifle Association playbook: The Obama administration has announced millions of dollars in funding to put armed officers in the nation’s schools.
Specifically, the Department of Justice said $45 million is going to “create 356 new school resource officer positions,” CNN reported. The money is coming from Community Oriented Policing Services grant dollars — and first up on the list of intended recipients is Newtown, Conn., the site of the massive Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The money to Newtown will fund two new officers in the town’s schools, Breitbart reported.
Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said of the grants: “In the wake of past tragedies, it’s clear that we need to be willing to take all possible steps to ensure that our kids are safe when they go to school.”
Knowing him, he gave it to muzzies or the BLM crowd.
Maybe all the money went to beef up security at the Sidwell Friends School. That’s where Obama’s daughters went to school. Biden’s grandchildren went there as well.
I still can’t figure out why those children just didn’t go to the local public school. Maybe the classes were already filled up.
It went on a pallet to Iran in an unmarked plane....

That’s $123,000 per position.
And there’s 98,000 public schools in the USA.
Somehow those 356 positions did not include a particular school in Florida.
Wishing Somebody would put this article in front of Trump.
And while at it, put articles about Democrats and Odumbass proposing building a wall. All were totally for it back then. and the video of him and dimasses standing on border saying “Wall is 99% complete” remember that?

But, he didn’t lie, did he? AMERICAN schools, never spilled from those purple lips. Americans just “assumed” these were the schools he hoped to help. Slapping my knee and laughing through tears.

That money went the same place as the cash for ‘shovel ready’ jobs.

There are over 10,000 school districts across the USA.
I am not sure how many individual schools.
Hmm...let’s say 330 million divided by life expectancy of 100 roughly 3 million students per integer age. So let’s say 36 million children of school age - surely with kindergarten at least 40 million.
That’s not bad money. Wonder if any of those officers were actually hired.
