My daughter did this after some bouts of kidney stones and found there was a doctor in FL who was an expert in this field and in a few days she was on her way to FL and he removed a tumor from her parathyroid, I think. My sister did this and diagnosed my mother’s illness when she was close to death. That was after a doctor in an emergency room of a major hospital sent her home and told her that she was “just old”. Other doctors were clueless. They did only basic blood panels, and her illness isn’t tested in the basic panels — it’s an expanded panel.
