If youre a news hound like yours truly, this may not seem like breaking news to you, but whats interesting is that despite Donald Trumps first year in office which proved to be a boon for the rich cats (the stock market breaking record after record, the economy booming, jobs coming back, unemployment at historic lows, juicy tax cuts for corporations etc.), who by the way also own the mainstream media, 2018 seems to look a lot like 2017 in terms of the TV networks incredibly biased and hostile approach to the POTUS. According to a recent study courtesy of Media Research Center, which analyzed the evening news casts for the last couple of months (January and February) of NBC, CBS and ABC (I wonder what wouldve happened if theyve included Clinton News Network too in their analysis), these networks made 10 times more negative comments about President Trump than positive statements. To no ones surprise, the networks covered obsessively the nothing-burger also known as the Russia Collusion Conspiracy Theory and special counsel Robert Muellers investigation, which dwarfed all other (positive) topics, such as the economy, jobs and so forth and so on.

Imagine what could have been accomplished if the swampers were on his side.
91%?
That sounds a bit low to me.
bkmk
I have not seen 9% positive coverage of Trump. That 91% negative news coverage number is way too low, closer to 98.5%.
NBC, CBS and ABC
We used to get these with a coat hangar antenna in the 60’s and 70’s when we Knew TV made people Stupid, are they still on the air??
It’s very depressing. I can see why the ignorant masses hold negative views of our great president.
The sad thing is that the only way he gets positive coverage is by intervening militarily in areas where we have no vital national interests. I think the left is trying to manipulate him into doing their bidding in that area.
The network evening news starts at 5 with ABC(David Muir)then at 5:30 NBC with Lester Holt ... where I live. So on a typical weekday evening I watch both ... both network news casts bash
Trump relentlessly, with ABC leading. Lester Holt comes across as a little more circumspect than Muir so seems less harsh in
his criticism of Trump. Rarely watch CBS so I can’t really rank them in comparison to ABC & NBC.
91% negative and yet he’s managing a 49% approval rating by some accounts. I don’t think the media’s campaign is working.
Fu media bastards. We will replace you, no matter how hard you try to control the internet.
“That sounds a bit low to me.”
Quite a bit low??-
I HAVE YET TO SEE A POSITIVE ANYTHING!! for this
administration. Trump has to fight:
1. Demon traitors from the democrat side
2. repug never trumpers from the GOP side
3. the MSM
4. Hollywierd
5. probably millions of illegal voters (kalifornia has
a couple of million alone)
I pray for Trump-Pence all the time
I cannot recall ONE positive story in the MSM about Trump.
It is like some kind of contest to see who hates Trump the most.
I was watching a clip from I think the Norm McDonald show, where David Letterman showed up.
It was actually an interesting interview, with Dave talking about his heart surgery.
It showed footage of Letterman saying that Trump is "despicable"
Somehow this really bothered me.
Letterman had Trump on his show countless times, and it was always a good time had by all.
It wouldn't surprise me if Letterman personally called Trump to appear when some guest backed out.
Why would Letterman stab the guy in the back or have him on the show so often if he thought he was "despicable"?
The constant negative pounding of Trump reminds me of the state run media in Cuba and North Korea that never miss an opportunity to bash the US. I think this constant negativity is turning off all but the most rabid Trump haters. People are simply not watching these networks. Ditto the Oscars.
Idiot box programs the less educated, uninquisitive, under informed, dolts, morons, bots and other assorted programmable peons.
DEPROGRAM yourself.
