Children prefer Liberalism (modern definition) because it is familiar to them: someone else (Mommy and Daddy) takes care of them; they are fed, clothed, housed, protected and amused by someone else’s efforts.
Their frontal lobes are not fully formed yet.
This explains a lot of things. It means their brains make illogical conclusions. This is great if you’re a theoretical physicist. It’s why most discoveries are made by people under 35. It’s also why all the best engineers, technicians and the like are 35 and older. It requires a stable brain that can process all the inputs and come out with a logical conclusion without jumping over important steps.
For this reason, young people should not be making policy.
When the lie is propagated long enough ,it becomes the truth. Wonder who said that? I hope our kids don’t become little brownshirts.
Children have always loved fairy tales.
At its best, Liberalism is a fairy tale.
