Democrat desperation reaches its zenith

As the SS Collusion slowly slides under the waves, a far left radical socialist democrat is doing his best to keep it afloat. Tom Perez and the DNC have filed a lawsuit against numerous parties, including Russia. A country. Really:

The Democratic National Committee filed a lawsuit Friday against the Trump campaign, Russia and WikiLeaks, accusing them of plotting to tilt the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

The multimillion-dollar lawsuit, first reported by The Washington Post, claims that the three parties worked together to prop up President Trump and kneecap his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

The lawsuit accuses Russian intelligence services of hacking into the DNC computers and with the help of WikiLeaks distributed the stolen information to disrupt the election. The DNC alleges that the Trump campaign was aware of the effort, but instead of reporting it, “gleefully welcomed Russia’s help.”

“Indeed, the Trump campaign solicited Russia’s illegal assistance, and maintained secret communications with individuals tied to the Russian government, including one of the intelligence agencies responsible for attacking the DNC,” the lawsuit says. “Through these communications, the Trump Campaign, Trump’s closest advisors, and Russian agents formed an agreement to promote Donald Trump’s candidacy through illegal means.”

I saw Perez on TV saying "We all know that Trump is Putin's stooge."

Initially it made me very angry. The Chairman of the DNC is spewing utter nonsense. It's a dicey thing to do. There is no evidence whatsoever of anything Perez asserts. Perez is no stranger to prevarication. He has continued to lie about the DNC role in the funding of the Russian dossier. He lies about the prowess of DNC funding. He dropped the voter intimidation case against the Black Panthers.

In 2008, two men from the New Black Panther Party, one brandishing a nightstick, stood in front of a polling place in Philadelphia and became aggressive when a video tracker asked them what they were doing. The Department of Justice had a straightforward case against the two, according to former attorney J. Christian Adams, until Perez, then head of the agency’s Civil Rights Division, intervened. Adams resigned in protest after the charges were dropped. He called Perez the "most extreme cabinet nominee" he had ever seen.
He doesn't think white people are protected by the Voting Rights Act.

He is an extreme radical:

I think Trump said something about “we look forward to discovery.”

This will be the greatest backfire/blowback in the history of politics.

It hasn’t reached its zenith.

They have lots of anger miles saved up, yet to be used.

The Trump campaign worked to tilt the election in their favor!? The horror! How dare they try to win against the anointed one!

I’m wondering how many elections have seen the dems colluding with the media to prop up the dem candidate, and kneecap the republican candidate. I guess media meddling and colluding is OK. I also wonder how much foreign money 0bama received in 2008, when he turned off the feature designed to weed out overseas donors during his campaign, and how much foreign money the Clinton campaign received in 2016.

I agree. Discover should be a hoot. Now where did the DNC put those servers? They destroyed them as the corruption was going to be exposed.

>>They destroyed them as the corruption was going to be exposed.<<

Start with the people who destroyed them and work up the chain. This will be a long “Law & Order” episode.

I wonder how long before more people in the chain end up victims of Arkanside?

Everyone seems to be putting a lot of stock in the purported IG report like it is the Holy Grail or something. Well here it is nearly the end of April and all we’ve gotten from the IG is slim pickings about McCabe. Seems to me that every time we on the Right are hoping for justice, we wind up deeply disappointed. So I’ll believe there will be a big time IG reveal only if and When I see it.

Muller has been investigating these same claims for over a year. Are they saying Mueller is incompetent?

If Tom Perez were a citizen of a South American country, he would have risen to become another Castro or Chavez or Maduro.

He is that radical, and perhaps even more. Luckily for the U.S., we still have a constitution and a bill-of-rights that have kept people like Perez, and even Obama, from becoming all-powerful and tyrannical.

Give them time, and with the slow destruction of our rights, which they’re very intent on undoing, the U.S. will eventually dissolve and split and become a bunch of third-world dictatorships.

Our worst enemy right now, is not Russia or Iran or N. Korea; it’s the democratic party.

There was an article posted here on FR awhile back. Had a Q&A with Bannon, IIRC. Someone really high up in the Trump campaign.

Anyway, there was a throwaway comment in it, that really caught my attention. Something to the effect of, "I knew we had won Florida late in the evening on Election Night when Trump's lead exceeded the number of votes that Dems could manufacture to steal the election."

I saw that, and said, "Here's a guy, totally on the inside, not some outsider wanna-be hanger-on. Knows all the players and how everything functions. Most likely was sitting in the room that evening with (now) President Trump. And he just said, in a completely offhand manner, that Dems cheat and there's a "known" amount automatically baked into their totals that Republicans need to overcome."

No idea why that story can never get any legs.

Poor poor Seth Rich! He was as likely as anyone to be in the mix. I guess the investigation into server et al is no match for a murder charge!

This will never reach discovery. This is duck and cover running up to the midterms because the DNC can now duck any questions headed in their direction regarding the IG report that Horowitz will release under the cover of an ongoing lawsuit. The DNC will also use the lawsuit as a fundraising mechanism to their rube followers. The suit will be dropped after the midterms.

I’m not a lawyer, and I (thankfully) don’t even play one on TV, but won’t a lawsuit of this nature have the potential to see the likes of Comey, McCabe, Clinton, Tapper, Obama et al subpoenaed to the witness stand to testify under oath?

Assuming this case is thrown out for being the biggest frivolous lawsuit of all time, how much can the DNC be fined? I hope it’s not just court costs.

Deposed absolutely. As part of discovery, and based on whatever answers they give it may or may not light a fuse that will blow the DNC et al right out of the business.
