It's also no secret that the press hates Donald Trump. Trump thinks the press is crap and at the White House Correspondents' Dinner they proved him right.
The highlight, if you will, was comedian (allegedly) Michelle Wolf. The Trump hating Wolf, of the Daily Show, was brought in by the White House Correspondents' Association. She had a lot to say, most of it was truly nasty. She attacked a lot of people but was hardest on Sarah Sanders:
“Every time Sarah steps up to the podium, I get excited,” the comedian said. “I’m not really sure what we’re going to get, you know? A press briefing, a bunch of lies or divided into softball teams. ‘It’s shirts and skins, and this time don’t be such a little bitch, Jim Acosta” – a reference to a CNN correspondent who has clashed with Sanders.It was so out of bounds that even Mika Brzezinski was outraged:Wolf continued: “I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful. But she burns facts and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smokey eye. Like maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.”
Sanders looked stony faced and there were both laughs and groans. But Wolf was not done: “I’m never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Is it Sarah Sanders, is it Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is it Cousin Huckabee, is it Aunt Huckabee Sanders? What’s Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women? Ah I Know, Aunt Coulter” – referring to the rightwing pundit Ann Coulter.
“Watching a wife and mother be humiliated on national television for her looks is deplorable,” Brzezinski said in a tweet. "I have experienced insults about my appearance from the president. All women have a duty to unite when these attacks happen and the WHCA owes Sarah an apology.”Jonathan Karl found it distasteful:
"I think that the comedian crossed the line, and this went from poking fun to being mean-spirited,” Karl said. “It was very uncomfortable.”She tore into Kelly Anne Conway:However, he added that Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who found herself the punchline of jokes about her press briefings, her makeup and her name, took things surprisingly well.
“I think that Sarah Sanders handled herself very well considering what was coming her way, and I think that most people in that room were uncomfortable, were uncomfortable with the direction of the jokes, no question at all, and certainly the only thing it will do is result in probably more goodwill for Sarah Sanders because nobody should have to sit through that,” Karl said.

I thought her Debbie Wasserman Schultz hair style was rather appropriate for what came out of her (Wolf’s) profane blabbering mouth.
John Kelly refutes report he called Trump ‘idiot’:
“I spend more time with the president than anyone else and we have an incredibly candid and strong relationship,” said Kelly in a statement. “He always knows where I stand and he and I both know this story is total BS. I am committed to the president, his agenda, and our country. This is another pathetic attempt to smear people close to President Trump and distract from the administration’s many successes.”
Three White House spokespeople said they don’t believe it’s accurate that Kelly called the president an “idiot,” adding that none of them has ever heard him do that or otherwise use that word.

I’ve been looking forward to the disavowal by the NOW people and a statement from the Leader of All Womyn, Hillary Clintoon.
I think on Saturday night they did prove they are crap.
That was a disgusting display of venom and childish crap.
I expected political zingers, but not talk of sexual activities, masturbation, menstruation, testicles, genitals, etc.
Imagine if any such things had been said of Obama and his people during such an ever while Obama was in the White House.
And how shocked really was the woman who runs the White House correspondents association? Don’t they vet the people the invite to an event? They really didn’t know she was a foul mouthed liberal comedian?
Maybe this dinner will go the way of the dodo bird.
We are supposed to think that this sort of event reflects the best of journalistic integrity and achievement?
Somebody said today, that this crazy dinner confirms the worst stereotypes and feelings people have about the liberal media and the foul mouthed entertainment political programs on TV.
The media have tried to dispel such stereotypes, in part because they want to be seen as somehow being objective and having some semblance of journalistic standards and integrity.
Lots of campaign ads can be constructed out of the rantings of Michelle Wolf.
Some creeper described that hairdo as Raman Noodle style.

The Hollywood liberals are calling Michelle Wolf’s trashing of the Trump Administration a triumph. Many are predicting that Wolf will become rich in the months ahead. To them she has opened up a vein of gold from which they can profit at the expense of our President. In my opinion, they have opened a vein of manure which will splash on all their faces. Think pocketbooks.
That woman has no business making snide remarks about another woman’s appearance ...
