Sen. John McCain should reconsider his wish that President Donald Trump not attend McCain's funeral, said Sen. Orrin Hatch, the most senior GOP senator.
McCain prefers instead that Vice President Mike Pence attend his funeral rather than Trump, who has mocked McCain for being tortured and attacked him for voting against Obamacare repeal. But Hatch said he thought keeping the president from his funeral was too much: "I think it's ridiculous."
Hatch said he does not expect McCain, who is battling brain cancer, to return to the Senate.
"That's what I've been told,” said Hatch, who is 84 and retiring after this year. “I don't know. I hope he does, I hope he can."

If McCain doesn’t want Trump at his funeral, that is his prerogative.
We all know McCain hates Trump; it was pretty clear after he passed the deciding vote to kill Obamacare, and took great joy in doing so.
Actually, makes it easy for Trump not to go. Had he been invited and passed, he would have looked classless; instead he has a legitimate reason to avoid the funeral.
All we need now is for McCain to actually die. This is getting to be a Monty Python sketch.

Trump should just go to the Oval Office toilet and do a bowel movement in honor of the memory of John “the turd” McCain.
Does anyone get invited as such to a funeral? Don’t people just show up if they want to pay respects ?

Invitations to a funeral? Like a wedding or graduation? Does Hallmark sell the appropriate stationary? What is this? Honestly, I would only visit Juan’s grave after a dinner of asparagus and Schlitz.

If McCain is being buried in Arlington, Trump as President should be there to pay respects and say something nice about the Senator’s service to the nation. If he is being buried in Arizona, provide the plane and get him the heck out of DC before he can do even more damage.
