The beautiful oasis of Damascus is no more. The bombing has begun, and it will no doubt continue. This is the destiny humanity has created in their need for dominance over one another. The beauty of God’s creation is destroyed, and hell on earth flourishes for all Earth’s creatures.
Man seems to need that type of environment, as war is an age-old practice of unimaginable cruelties. Those destructive practices have gone on unabated for too long, and I believe mankind is looking at a juncture in history that will prove to spell the end of this age.
Israel and Iran exchanged missile fire as tensions flaring between the two countries have lead to fears that the Middle East could unravel into a larger war. Israeli officials said Thursday that they had fired dozens of missiles at Iranian forces camped out in its neighbor Syria, and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said the strikes hit “almost all” of Iran’s infrastructure there.

And frankly who supports who in Syria is muddy and who are the actual good guys on the ground is too
Israel is trying to toe a very narrow often contradictory line over Syria and it involves everyone in the region and beyond truly

where has this writer been the past 4-5 years. Syrians (Russians and Iranians) have been bombing the snot out of Damascus. It didn’t just start last night with Israel.
The article also seems to equally blame Israel and Iran, which of course was the intent.

Israel has been at war at least openly since 2006 with Hezbollah - the Lebanon War could not have been a clearer example how this Iranian proxy has controlled what was a Syrian proxy - Lebanon. Obviously since 1979 they have been the Shia counter in Lebanon to Sunnis/Christians and have precipitated many lower level conflicts. The fact that Iran has been attempting to solidify offensive positions in Syria because they can exploit a weak Syrian regime is no less a threat to Israel than Hezbollah’s entrenchment in Lebanon. In fact, it is likely more so.
