This country doesn’t know how to deal with masses of young Americans determined to end the cycle by remaining single/childless and retiring at 62. The Borg needs them as fuel, and more and more are opting out. The illegals ingested by the Borg in the end are just causing it heartburn, consuming it from within with an ever-growing list of demands - as the number of “providers” shrinks.

I’m convinced that “New Coke” was merely a cover for the transition of “the real thing” from cane sugar to fructose corn syrup. While everyone pitched a fit over New Coke and how awful/different it tasted, their palettes were being cleansed so they didn’t notice the switch to corn syrup when “Classic” was brought out. Coca-Cola made with cane sugar is still available as an import from Mexico.

Never have liked Starbucks. But, from now on if I have a little time to kill I’ll use their restroom whether I need to go or not.
I had no idea of what happened to Sam’s. I knew something changed, and I simply stopped shopping there.
Is that why all the employees turned black at Sam’s club? I thought I walked into Popeye’s chicken.

explains a lot about the ridiculous state of our two year old local Sam’s, which is not doing well at all. It’s the only store in town that has self-checkout in which NONE of the self-checkouts will take cash, and is the only store in town in which NONE of the cash register displays show change due.
