I remember voting "no" (the only one) for a school board policy denouncing bullying and establishing a slew of consequences for what could be considered a bullying tactic.
My reasoning was that there were three positions one could be in;
you're a bully
you're being bullied or
you're the savior of the kid being bullied.
I further explained that on my opinion, every one of those positions taught life lessons and that by establishing a bullying policy, the school was just adding more rules and regulations to an environment that had already exceeded beyond education and was more interested in re-engineering the thought processes of young children away from traditional home and church values towards a more co0ntrollable socialist thought process.
Yeah, right ... THAT went over like a lead balloon, but I did say it.
Today, Pastor started with G W Bush and through to obama, stating that every ONE of them had at one time or another promised to move the American embassy to Jerusalem but for political reasons, never did it.
And I thought; "What were those political reasons?"
And concluded, they were the political policies that had established various lines that heretofore were not crossed ... We'd insult the Palestinians, we would cause civil war, we would be hated by the Arab world .... whatever.
And I thought back to that school board vote and decided, President Trump is not a bully nor can BE bullied, so he said Jerusalem was the capital of Israel and built the American embassy there in record time and I suspect under budget.
The concept of the rules to prevent bullying translated into a political world is meant to stifle free men from being free and men.
THAT'S what happened in church today.
Thanks to President Cyrus.
Thanks! Very interesting. Afaik bullying didn’t become a serious problem until we removed God from the classroom. Who could have seen that coming.
