I wish today’s wedding dresses were long sleeved. I think it allows for more variety in the design.

Queen Elizabeth would not allow her sister to marry her first love, Capt. Peter? Townsend, because he was divorced. A lot has changed since then. If the Monarchy hadn't gotten with the times, it may have fallen or hobbled along anyway until the Last Day.

She was quite the character, at times a real hoot. Gore Vidal said that she was actually brilliant, one of the smartest minds he knew. Of course we all know Bill Buckley's opionion of Gore Vidal, LOL.
Well, in honor of Princess Margaret's memory, I will pop the cork on a bottle of bubbly, and maybe two or three more, and maybe a bottle of Jim Beam, a few beers, oh, a few shots of Bacardi, that bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau that's been sitting under the sink since last November, a bit of Korger Chardonay from a refrigerator box—what the hell the whole box—and top it all off with a can or two of Sterno. Here's to you, Maggie!
