Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet? – At 8:00 a.m CT today, the U.S. embassy in Israel will formally transfer its operations from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The promise to make this move has been made by every U.S. president since George H. W. Bush. It took President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those words) to actually keep the promise on behalf of 315 million Americans.

Oh, by all means, share away. – A senior official in the Iranian government issued a threat to the United States and other countries over the weekend that all 315 million Americans should welcome. Well, all, that is, except those members of the Obama Administration and their hangers- on who allegedly accepted bribes to make the horrible deal with Iran happen. Because they, if they exist, are the target of the threat.

H.J.Ansari Zarif, the deputy for parliamentary and Iranian affairs within Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said he would do the dirty work: “If Europeans stop trading with Iran and don’t put pressure on US then we will reveal which western politicians and how much money they had received during nuclear negotiations to make #IranDeal happen,” Mr. Zarif reportedly said.

Gosh, maybe that explains why John Kerry has continued his serial violations of the Logan Act even after President Trump announced he was ending U.S. participation in the terrible deal that he negotiated. On Saturday, Kerry was spotted meeting with three Iranian officials in a Paris cafe’, with one patron claiming he overheard the former Secretary of State railing against President Trump during the conversation, before being photographed lurching away from the meeting by another diner.

Seriously, I have no idea if any actual “bribery” took place during the sham negotiations over the deal, but it would help to explain why some members of the Obama Administration were so anxious to commit the U.S. to an agreement in which our country gained literally nothing. So if there really is evidence of any such bribery, by all means, share away, Mr. Zarif. Don’t leave us hanging here.

The deep state is really, really worried about Devin Nunes, and we should all be just fine with that. – Speaking to some audience of poor saps in Washington over the weekend, ex-FBI Director and current teenage drama queen James Comey said that, in his pursuit of actual information from deep state thugs at the Justice Department and the FBI, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is “acting dangerously.”

“You cannot overstate the danger in that kind of behavior to the security of the United States,” Comey said.

Comey’s absurd statements align directly – shocking, I know – with recent talking points targeting Nunes in the fake news media, and with recent statements by Deputy U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein, who called Nunes’ legitimate efforts to obtain information from DOJ under his committee’s oversight responsibilities “extortion.” Holy cow.

But it only got more extreme from Comey:

Comey, who was fired by President Trump last year, said he’s never seen this level of pressure for the intelligence community to abdicate information about a protected source. He warned this effort “risks the death of the thing that is at the core of our ability to protect this country.”

Let’s review here what Chairman Nunes is currently after from our deep state DOJ. He is looking for the name of the supposed “intelligence asset” who Obama CIA Director John Brennan used as the basis for the communication he sent over to the FBI in July 2016 formally authorizing the commencement of a counterintelligence operation against the Trump Campaign. He is attempting to determine if this “asset” had been inserted into the Trump Campaign by the Obama intelligence community, or if he was interacting with members of the Trump Campaign in a classic spy effort to “dirty them up” to give the appearance of wrongdoing.

The truth is that Nunes and many other people already know the identity of the person in question, as his name has been uncovered by enterprising independent investigators and has been bandied about all over the internet over the past four days, along with documentation that, in late September 2016, he was paid a very large amount of money by the intelligence community with taxpayer dollars for his efforts. And the truth is that the FBI had already been conducting a counterintelligence operation against the Trump Campaign well before it received the communication from Mr. Brennan authorizing same. We’ve known that for some time now.

This is what James Comey and John Brennan and all the other Obama deep staters are so desperate to cover up: The Obama Administration was actively spying on and attempting to entrap members of the presidential campaign of the opposition party. This is the most shocking breach of the public trust ever committed by any presidential administration, and Devin Nunes is intent upon exposing it to the public.

So it’s no wonder that the public statements by Mr. Comey and the shrill tweets coming out of Mr. Brennan literally reek of desperation. These are really bad, really guilty people who engaged in the worst sort of betrayal under the belief it would all be covered up when Hillary Clinton won the election.

Just one problem: Hillary didn’t win. Oops.

Just another day in the deep state is reeking of desperation America.
