Is it just me, or was bringing Rudy Giuliani onto his legal team a monumentally bad decision on the part of the Trump administration?

It’s just you.

About time they went on offense.

For a number of reasons, the least of them being the fact that he hasn’t been a part of the Trump administration for a year and a half, and is presumably relying upon whatever his friends in the White House are feeding him. He’s also an egomaniac, as anyone who’s lived in New York City-as I have for my entire life-will know.

Too soon to tell,IMO.It absolutely must be reiterated that he’s a former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.*That* is a big deal.*That* gives him enormous credibility in every aspect of the law.

This isn’t just a legal fight, it’s a political one. Frame it that way and Rudi’s actions make perfect sense.

I know, he was also Associate Attorney General in the Reagan administration, but he hasn’t been at the top of his game in quite a while.

I know, but Giuliani hasn’t been appointed to be the President’s political fixer or spokesman. He’s been chosen as his lawyer.

A rose by any other name is still but a rose FRiend.

At the very least Rudy will give the opponents pause before pulling one of their shenanigans.

Monumentally wrong decision? WTF? Get over whatever it is you don't like about Rudy because he's the guy the president wants. You don't even say why you think it is a bad decision. Why not?

Gulliani is the New York lawyer version of President Trump. He's got a big ego like his boss and I think they will do just fine together.

He is brash and not afraid to say what needs to be said. He's over-the-top sometimes like his boss but that is not a bad thing. Trump knows and likes him. He will serve the president well in this war against Mueller and the Deep State.

The first time in my life I had to hire a lawyer, an acquaintance suggested I hire a friend of his. Smart. Nice guy. Big mistake. I lost my lawsuit. The guy was too milquetoast.

I should have gone with my own instincts and hired the guy I hired the second time I needed a lawyer a few years later. He was kind of a prick and brash. A hard-ass. We won hands down because he went for the jugular and not for the comfy handshake.

Trump gets criticism from all corners of the political spectrum and the world. Sometimes he must feel like he stands alone.

And yet as one of his supporters from the get-go when he walked down that escalator in Trump Tower to announce his candidacy, I support his decisions. He's my guy no matter what.

If we can't support him and his choices like Gulliani, then who's going to have his back? If not us, who?

I have never heard Rudy go on the defensive, always on offense. He’s good.

It’s not just you. When Rudy makes a big claim about Mueller, I don’t really believe him; ie.”Mueller Says He Will NOT Indict The President!”. Really? I’ll wait until I hear Sarah Sanders or KellyAnne VP Pence talk about it. They all have greater credibility.

I support the president, but I am stating my honest impression of Rudy for this go-round.

Rudy has a big mouth and loves the spot light. If he fails No one will ever hire him again.

As a lawyer, I think it was a mistake. He talks too much and is all over the place. He has not done real legal work for a very long time and it shows.

Rudy is just right. He can throw bombs and say things others can’t and get away with it. He is kind of bulletproof.

” I’ll wait until I hear Sarah Sanders”

You must not understand that Sarah is Whitehouse spokesperson, not Trump spokesperson.

He wasn't even doing legal work when he retired from office. He worked for his security firm.

I'm not even sure he resigned from the Reagan administration to run for Mayor.
