Disney’s “Star Wars”-themed lands at its California and Florida resorts now have opening seasons.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open first at Disneyland in Anaheim in the summer of 2019, followed by a late autumn opening for the one at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

No other details were released.

The 14-acre themed areas will represent a location on a planet called Batuu, which the company previously called “a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge that was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes.”(continued)

Children will line up for miles to ride the new, “Lando’s Pansexual Pandemonium.”

Ugh.

I read months ago that it’ll cost $1,000 a day. Don’t know if that is true.

I remember when Disney was wholesome. Will never take my grandkids (If I ever have any!) there.

OK, well at least it’s not entire theme park which would have been disastrous. I don’t know, I like the “Star Tours” ride. Hope they keep it - maybe upgrade it. Maybe they’ll have a lot of it in the old spaceship in Tomorrowland in the CA Disneyland I guess.

It’s not Disney.

It’d be like if Walt put Popeye, Woody Woodpecker or Bugs Bunny in to the park.

Featuring Gay Lando! And an apparently now curious Solo.

It will be included in the price of admission to the parks. The new Star Wars hotel at the park, on the other hand, will indeed be very expensive.

Looks like I’ll have to make a trip there in 2020 after the initial hype dies down a bit.

“Lando’s Pansexual Pandemonium.”

I cannot, for the life of me, comprehend why people must walk this Earth obsessed with what kinds of perversions a character in a fictional story for kids has developed.

I was almost going to go see that movie in a theater despite swearing off SW after The Last Jedi ... then this Lando-Pansexual news broke. I think I’ll wait until I can pirate it via torrent ... even then, I’ll feel ashamed that I subjected electrons to that mess when downloading.

I hope that Star Wars tanks and someone can buy it off Disney for pennies on the dollar. It’s frigging sad what those queer clowns are doing to the story. It’s not the greatest story ever conceived by man, but it was certainly a universe that appealed to me. Oh well ... life marches on :-).

Seriously . . . Is the Lando character revealed to be gay? Wow, I can’t believe they’d make the black guy gay! Usually it would be the white or Asian guy.

Extraordinarily unlikely. The $4 billion Star Wars cost them is some of the best money they ever spent, right up there with whatever buying Marvel cost them. They're making their money many times over.

Yep. Can’t go this year, and, next year will be crazy, so, 2020 or so.

We did make it to the opening of Toy Story Midway Mania. It was a soft opening for DVC members only. LOTS of fun.

Don’t let the negative folks who don’t know anything about DisneyWorld turn you off from it. It IS the most magical place in the world, but, only if you bring magic with you. Otherwise, folks should stay home.

“Featuring Gay Lando!”

No, no, no. Not “Gay Lando”. Pansexual Lando. That’s even worse.
