Mexico says it will help people who are deported, but they often are left to make it on their own

Halfway through the flight, the officers took off Omar Blas Olvera’s handcuffs. He asked why. They had entered Mexican territory, an immigration agent told him. It was July 26, 2017. After they landed in Mexico City, he looked out the window and saw the airport’s signs in Spanish.

Just a few months earlier, Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto welcomed 135 deported men and women at Mexico City's airport. He touted Somos Mexicanos (We Are Mexican), a federal program to help repatriated nationals.

“You’re not alone. Don’t feel abandoned. The doors to this house will always be open,” Mr. Peña Nieto said then.

So when Mr. Blas arrived, at 30 years old, he had hope for starting a new life with his family in Mexico.

“When I got off the plane, I would have liked for someone to tell me, ‘We’re going to help you in any way we can, for you and your family to get together,’” he says.

It didn’t quite go the way he thought it would. There was someone from Somos Mexicanos at the airport to welcome him, but he was put into a system that was confusing to navigate and left him feeling helpless.

Mr. Blas lives now in his hometown of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, in central Mexico. Mexico’s interior ministry reports that 166,986 Mexicans were repatriated from the US in 2017, the first year of Donald Trump’s presidency....

There are huge areas of Mexico, entire Mexican states, in which the Mexican federal government does virtually nothing, having ceded the states and their populations to drug cartels. Local politicians are offered plata o plomo and become totally corrupt. If the locals organize their own defense against the cartels, they are wiped out to the last child. That's one reason for the mass graves.

Mexico actually has "internal refugees," people who survived the massacres and escaped to neighboring states.

I suppose the United States might be a bit more willing to take the internal refugees, but they have demonstrated over and over that they bring their ways here, assimilating us to themselves, instead of the other way around. Our politicians have shown that they are perfectly willing to go along with this "plan" in order to get votes.

We all know that Mexico is so corrupt and we need to build a Southern Border Wall and we all know that we need this wall badly right now, there has been so much neglect on illegal immigration now coming into this country from all over the world since the Mexican government will not do a thing to stop them from coming into the U.S.A.

Hopefully, President Trump will cut the exports coming in from Mexico.

President Trump has opened up a lot of eyes on this matter.

Partner, the one thing that they do not tell us is that here in the State of Texas we have close to 50% of the students in our Public Schools are Hispanic. The one thing that bothers me is that a lot of these students are Illegal Aliens. Just amazing.

President Trump wants to cut out all foreign aid for the countries that send their folks into our country.

Hopefully, this will help stop the insanity but they want to come here for the education and all the freebies that we the taxpayers help them to do so.

We need Paul Ryno out now and we need a new Majority Leader in the Senate. We need leaders that will be tough on Illegal Immigration.

Partner, Texas has a lot of other folks coming into the state that are Republican and thank God they are coming from Rat stench holes like California, New York, New Jersey. They are mostly Republican since they are coming from the high tax states and Texas does not have a state income tax.

We see a lot of license plates from California and they outnumber New York and New Jersey.

We are not that close to being a blue state but if the Pubbie leadership does not build a wall on our Southern border to stop the Illegal Alien invasion then we will be overwhelmed with these Illegals who vote with the Rat party.

The Rats are running a Rat as the governor of Texas and she is so far to the left. The Rats are running like they just love President Trump since President Trump is so popular here in Texas.

Our current Governor Abbott will win the Governor's election easy over her.

We know why folks from other states are coming to Texas and that is because we have such a great job market for professionals and blue collar workers.

The folks coming in will vote for the Republican party since the Rat party left them a long time ago and they know it also.

Partner, I am glad that California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Maryland, and other high state income tax states where their citizens are just packing their bags and coming to Texas since we do not have any state income taxes.

They all vote for Republican candidates so the Illegals can not vote. It really is amazing to see all of these license tags from these states. California and New York are the highest license tags seen around here in the Houston area.

The state of Texas you must have a license with a photo and name to be checked off the voting rolls. Thank God we won that battle. I see that LULAC is fighting the photo on the license in the state of Iowa since the Republicans won that state.

The Rats will not stop fighting.

We need to stop the Illegal Alien Invastion and put a fire under Congress to build the Wall along our Southern Border and hire more Border Patrol Agents. We do not want amnesty either from these Rinos or we will lose the House. Paul Ryno is such a loser. Paul Ryno needs to leave now since he is leaving his Speakership to be a Lobbyist since his in-laws are going to give him a major stake in their lobbying firm. God help us!!!
