The median workers at these companies, at least the ones producing most of natural gas in Pennsylvania, are doing quite well.

Yes, they still might earn 100 times less than their CEOs, but just try sneezing at these median compensation numbers.

•CNX Resources: $129,390
•Range Resources: $123,500
•Chesapeake Energy: $118,761
•Southwestern Energy: $108,458
•EQT: $102,470
•Cabot Oil & Gas: $75,891

they are also out west- north dakota- loads of jobs there- high paying- hard work though- tough in the winters- but well worth it if a person is younger and strong and can withstand brutal winter weather outdoors up on rigs with winds howling- and yes- wind really howls in ND- ALl the time practicaLLY- but a few short years working there will get you a very nice start in life-

Also0- for folks with a CDL license- they have some high paying jobs in the oil fields as well-not quite as brutal as the rig work-

One of my favorite “Ghostbusters” lines.

One notes that ALL “renewable energy” efforts contribute 2.6% of all electricity. This after several trillon dollars have been spent on wind, solar power, and hydroelectric generators.
