BECKLEY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- More coal jobs are coming to West Virginia.
Bluestone Coal has announced it is hiring 250 employees, adding to its staff and providing high paying jobs at mines across southern West Virginia.
According to a news release from the company, Bluestone is now producing at a level that requires additional workers.
We need both surface and deep mine workers, Company CEO Jay Justice said. All positions, ranging from foremen to mechanics, electricians, truck drivers and all types of equipment operators will be put to work as soon as possible.
A variety of jobs are being offered, with the highest paying jobs in the coal sector, along with a newly redesigned bonus program.
The new bonus program will provide incentives to help the Bluestone employee as well as their spouses and children.
Bluestone began operating in 1971.
Bluestone was purchased by the Justice family from a Russian company named Mechel.

Bump! for Ol King Coal!
I wonder if Jimmy the Gov and Family will allow Bluestone to pay their vendors this time around. Still great news for the 250 being hired.
Cannot make American Steel, without American Coal.
Most efficient power source on the planet.
Liberals are upset at all these hires...United Technologies hired 2,000+ people (mostly in CT), Norfolk Southern and Bluestone - are these the crumbs you were talking about Nancy, Chuck and other morons?
“Sorry obunghole but Coal is Back:-)”
And... it’s black and it’s proud.
what, you mean these coal miners won’t have to retrain as C++ programmers now because jobs that were never going to come back came back?
The only time I can say that Hillary told the truth.
