President Donald Trump said Friday he expects to welcome the hometown Washington Capitals hockey team to the White House for winning the Stanley Cup. But he adds: "If they don't want to be here, I don't want them."
Trump congratulated the Capitals on his Twitter feed after the team won the NHL title with a 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. He singled out series MVP Alex Ovechkin as "a true Superstar" and said the city is "popping" after the Capitals won the team's first Stanley Cup championship.
The president spoke to reporters on the South Lawn days after he canceled a visit by the Philadelphia Eagles to commemorate their Super Bowl victory after most of the players decided to skip the ceremony....

How is this unreasonable? How many times must he open himself up to be insulted? I would question his judgement if he continually provided opportunities for our President to be treated in a shabby manner.
Since I don’t follow hockey, I figured the WH finally got around to replacing the caps (especially the ‘W’s) that the clintoons stole.

Pens went last year and I hope the Caps have a great visit this year. The NHL is the last pro sport I follow. The league has leftist leanings but so far they’ve not insulted their fan base by insulting our president.

My local paper the Pittsburgh Post Gazette is a leftie rag and they have not one good thing to say about President Trump, including one of their editorial section columnists who said yesterday, Trump may have commuted the drug sentence of an Afro-American woman but don’t let that fool you, he’s still a racist. My point is, the anti-Trump poison machine will find a way to ooze into every avenue they can to spew their venom because Trump halted the progressive Democratic takeover of the USA.
