$54 mill for 10 acres in Mount Dora? Ridiculous. Even if it were prime lakefront land it would not bring $10 million.

Frankly if everyone involved in the production and distribution of this garbage died a miserable death, would not lose any sleep.

I don't use pot, probably never will, but I find your statement disturbing.

There are many who feel about alcoholic beverages or tobacco the same way you feel about pot.

Wait until the Galllo [sic] family moves into the game.

That has to scare everyone because you know very soon the USDA and FDA will impose purity standards on cannabis. And that will quickly turn growing cannabis into the hands of corporate farmers who could afford to abide by such regulations.

Ask the President, since you seems at odds with him.

Yep. That will be "good" news. The backwoods will be rid of the dopers and growers. Streams will flow naturally without the black spaghetti hose running to the MJ plants. Would you let your little boy scouters go on an extended hike and campout in the woods?

The Lefties may be willing to look the other way on the recreational use of MJ, but the tax man and zoning enforcement officers will extract their toll. /smile

The president needs to change the law or with the jointer of the House and the Senate enforce the law he swore to execute faithfully. That is required under the constitution. My representatives will never permit the sale of dope.

So let the doj start prosecuting seniors who buy prescription drugs from Canada, then you can talk about executing all the laws.

BTW, did you happen to see President Trump humiliate Jeff Sessions the other day? Did I say humiliate? More like strip him down and mock his small “junk” front of the cabinet, Melania and the entire country.

The President begins speaking at 3m 15s => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyX1QD1Ou3g

All hail the Stoics!

Just the immediate severe short term memory loss alone should be reason enough to prohibit healthy young people from using this crap.

I’m all for its use for pain management for the sick.

Any other use is evil.

And if you look behind the curtain as to who is pushing this legalize pot movement, its the same group that controls the media, the banks, and invented communism

“Any other use is evil.”

Bullshite!

After suffering from terrible depression/anxiety/insomnia for decades & taking a myriad of anti-depressants, bento’s & insomnia meds & gradually getting worse over the years in addition to being extremely overweight & miserable, cannabis freed me from all of it!

I started using cannabis at the beginning of 2015, by the end of 2015 I was off the anti-depressants. By the end of 2016 I was off the bentos & by the end of 2017 I was off the insomnia medication. At the beginning of 2015 I weighed 289. I weighed 198 this morning before I walked 3 miles starting at 6:30am.

I thank my Heavenly Father daily for this amazing plant & it’s medicinal uses.

Exactly - they are not buying the land - just the license!

For me, the best part of the article was the caption under the picture at the end...

“Samantha Miller...talks with scientist Justin Fischedick in Santa Rosa on May 30, 2018”

Poor Justin! Still chuckling.

I support medical marijuana, which is what you are talking about.

Not just for pain management, should have mentioned that, so thanks for making that point.

I started smoking pot at 15 and there isn’t a drug out there I haven’t tried except Ayahuasca and bath salts, and whatever is causing those mass OD’s in NYC over the past couple of weeks.

Unlike most folks, my opposition to legal recreational use isn’t based on any moral or religious bias, just know from first hand experience what it did to my friends and myself, and the take away is that it didn’t make us any better, smarter, or more productive.

Haven’t had any since 1994, and that was about the time it got a lot more powerful.

Glad you are benefiting from medicinal marijuana.
