Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Someone really needs to relieve John McCain of his I-phone. – The guy whose rejection by the American people gave us Barack Hussein Obama got all upset on Saturday over President Trump’s refusal to bow to our Euro-Canadian betters at the G7 summit, and decided to send the following tweet:
John McCain ✔ @SenJohnMcCain To our allies: bipartisan majorities of Americans remain pro-free trade, pro-globalization & supportive of alliances based on 70 years of shared values. Americans stand with you, even if our president doesn’t.

There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that a bipartisan majority of the American people remain pro-globalization, but nevermind, the Senator from the news media has decided it is so. And so, the guy who could not win the presidency in his own right decides to undermine the trade policy efforts of the guy who was able to win the presidency.
Delete your account, Senator McCain, and while you’re at it, resign the senate seat that you have not manned for a single day this year. It’s time.
We are witnessing history on a grand scale. – Make no mistake about it, this G7 meeting was the most consequential such meeting ever held, an event every bit as crucial for the future of the free world as Reagan’s walking away from Gorbachev’s siren song at Reykjavik in 1986. This is true for one simple reason: The most powerful nation present, by far, now refuses to speak with the forked tongue of globalism. What’s more, probably the second most powerful nation present – at least economically – is also trending in that direction.
Take a look at this very telling picture:
The first thing you notice is that the only guy seated is completely dominating the room. He’s the absolute center of everyone’s attention, the singular target of their pleading and scolding. The second thing you notice is the body language of Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan, is exactly the same as President Trump’s. They’re both taking in the preaching of Macron and Merkel, and not buying a word of what they’re saying.
Why? Because they both know that these European peacocks are powerless without the backing of the United States of America. Abe, in fact, knows that is the truth about his own country, and has been the truth since the end of World War II.
Despite all the shrill denunciations of President Trump in the fake American news media today, every bit of real leverage in that room is on America’s side. The leaders of the other G7 nations know that, they know their economies can’t survive without the American largesse and one-sided trade practices they’ve enjoyed for 70+ years, and that is why they so detest Donald Trump. He refuses to speak the false language of globalism that Senator McCain wants him to speak and which every previous U.S. president since Reagan has gladly spoken.
Senator McCain and his fellow establishment Republicans, along with every Democrat and fake journalist practicing today would have Mr. Trump simply surrender all that leverage, all that power, in the name of globalism and their fool’s notion of “fairness.”
This President isn’t going to do that because, unlike his four immediate predecessors in office, he understands the crucial nature of leverage and power, and plans to keep using both to advance the interests not of some international “world order”, but of the American people.
Today, he arrives in Singapore for preparations for his June 12 summit meeting with the Crazy Little Fat Guy from North Korea, Kim Jong Un. The very same establishment Republicans, Democrats and fake journalists and talking heads who for the past two days have scolded President Trump for having the nerve to jealously protect American interests and deploy our country’s massive leverage in international negotiations will now shift to fretting that Mr. Trump is now going to somehow completely surrender all that leverage and power in his negotiations with the little Rocket Man.
The hilarious part of all of this is that they’re all too dim and lacking in self-awareness to even understand the massive inherent contradictions and rank hypocrisy in their own arguments. There is absolutely no reason at all to believe that this President – in stark contrast to his predecessors – will do anything other than jealously protect American interests and strongly deploy U.S. leverage while at the same time giving Kim the opportunity to concede what he must concede in order to improve his and his country’s situation.
But hey, this is what these people do – what they have been doing for the last 30 years, in fact. It’s all they know, and it’s why our country is in inherently unfair trade agreements with pretty much every other major economy on the face of the earth, and it’s why Trump inherited a situation in which North Korea had been able to build its own nuclear capability as the free world stood by and did nothing.
In the magnificent press conference he held as he exited the G7 to head for Singapore on Saturday, the President in fact placed the blame for all of this squarely where it belongs: On America’s past leaders. “They can’t charge us 270 percent and we charge them nothing, that doesn’t work anymore,” he said before adding that he believes these other countries are now, despite outward appearances, committed to moving toward fairer trade agreements. “I don’t blame them, I blame our leaders,” he continued. “In fact, I congratulate leaders of other countries for so crazily being able to make those trade deals that were so good for their country and bad for the United States.”
Exactly. Our leaders have been suckers for too long.
“We are like the piggy bank that everybody is robbing,” he added, “And that ends.”
John McCain and his fellow globalists hate that, because treating the American taxpayer as a massive piggy bank is what they’ve done for their entire adult lives. Trump threatens their entire world view, and that’s why they hate him so desperately.
It’s very important – and telling – to note that Ronald Reagan received exactly the same reaction from milquetoast Republicans and the fake American news media after he walked away from Reyjavik. Less than 3 years after he did that, the Soviet Union collapsed and the Berlin Wall came down.
It’s isn’t going to take that long for Trump to get the more favorable trade deals he is seeking from these powerless apparatchiks. It will probably all be done within a year. Because at the end of the day, all the leverage and power are in America’s hands, and Trump isn’t going to surrender it.
Just another day of Trump putting America first.

Funny, neither I nor anyone I know (which includes a lot of liberals and leftists) are in favor of the massive trade deficits, endless foreign interventions that produce results that are worse than before, and yet another decade of the US being burdened with the bulk of the costs for defending countries that won’t do so themselves. I’m not with the globalists, Mr. McCain, and neither are they. Goes back to the old Puritan bromide: “Speak for yourself, John”.
These lunatics have no idea what to do with a powerful leader who fights for the benefit of his people. They can’t even figure it out.
