I have mentioned many times in the past that the acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle is the Mark of the Beast. Originally I said it in jest. However with every day that passes it looks more and more like it is true.

It is Satan’s tool to destroy the Church. Unfortunately it appears to be a very effective strategy.

I was thinking “Mark of Beast” with regards to losing employment for not conforming to articles of faith of progressive philosophical, political ideological outlook. Being unemployed makes it so that one cannot buy or sell, so someone is locked out of the economic system.

I concur, except see Post 33 on the term homosexual.

There is a reason that sexual perversion (which is not a valid expression of sexuality) is an especially serious sin. It has nothing to do with prudery; it has everything to do with its fundamental effect on the soul and spirit.

It is primitive and foundational to being a functional human being. (I am not speaking of being sexually active, but of recognizing the proper place of sexuality in Creation.)

That goes for celibate priests as well: I question the allowance of those who harbor such desires as being fit to act as spiritual leaders to anyone. If they abstain, then by all means they should be accepted in the church as members, but they should not be trusted with guiding others. It is dangerous for those under their authority, and a needless temptation to them.

Whether or not it is THE mark of the beast, it is surely a candidate.

In Christian circles it is becoming a sin that doesn’t have to be forsaken and some are saying it isn’t a sin at all, so no need of repentance. This isn’t just my former methodists, but also a number of so-called “evangelical” churches I’m reading about.

Beasts spread death. Such a teaching would spread a death sentence. It is bestial.
