Can someone post the Rush Limbaugh transcript for todays show, 2nd hour 20 min. mark regarding the subject Were America B*tch!? It was roughly 10 min. long and hilarious. The premise: a Trump hating journalist is asking everyone, What is the Trump doctrine? while speculating on why there is NO doctrine. Finally he stumbles upon a WH aid who answers, Were America B*tch! Ive seen other articles referencing the phrase, but the way Rush built up the story with the classic punch line had me in stitches. I thought some FR would enjoy the comedy considering the heightened TDS today over the summit.
If not the one, check for updates
There was a thread on FR when the news first broke.
Yes! I was not aware anyone could see the transcripts. Thank you very much.
I was listening today and honestly thought Rush was going to say the Trump Doctrine was “Peace through Strength.” When he said “we’re America bitch,” I laughed long and enjoyed it.
Now, where to buy my new auto license plate frame...???
A little more nuanced way of putting it, from 1981:
January 20, 1981
“It does require, however, our best effort and our willingness to believe in ourselves and to believe in our capacity to perform great deeds, to believe that together with God’s help we can and will resolve the problems which now confront us.
And after all, why shouldn’t we believe that? We are Americans.”
Heard that and LOL
Rush spoke of seeing our President Trump as a paternal image, older than Kim and experienced. His insight of the event was right on target.
I want the hat!
License plate frame.....priceless :)
Another FReeper was kind enough to post a link to the excerpt although it was funnier live. Nonetheless, the buildup had me wondering as well and then.....BOOM! I laughed for twenty minutes.
I knew the tagline had been reported days ago but I did not know the backstory, so it caught me off guard as well. Great comedy from a true story........
