... And yet, awarding Trump the Nobel Prize might prove quite fitting. Despite the popular association of the Nobel with great thinkers, diplomats and statesmen, the prize has also routinely rewarded the undeserving, the frauds and the criminals.

Bottom line: Now that Trump is being considered for the Peace Prize, the Nobel is panned as an anti-prize not worthy of any serious consideration.
Where do they come up with this hogwash?

the prize has also routinely rewarded the undeserving, the frauds and the criminals.Throw in the do-nothings and you have described Obama winning the award. But where was this asshat when that happened?

prize has also routinely rewarded the undeserving, the frauds and the criminals. Obama fits this description - President Trump doesn't.

How about Teddy Roosevelt, Lech Walesa, The 14th Dalai Lama (Tenzin Gyatso), Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King Jr., Albert Schweitzer and Cordell Hull?

It’s too late for Trump to get the NPP.
The NPP is only awarded to a POTUS early on (0’ got his 9 months in, before he had any accomplishments).
Trump has TONS of accomplishments, so he is no longer eligible.
[of course, 0’ could have gotten his NPP at any time, even now, as he never had any real accomplishment, other than wrecking-ball destruction]

Obama won it when he did NOTHING.
Trump is being nominated while pulling off the greatest political coup since the fall of the Soviet Union.

Like when they gave it to Obama before he actually did anything as president?

If Trump is offered the prize wouldn’t it be a nice touch if he refused it unless it was shared by Dennis Rodman!?
The MSM would go bat $hit crazy!

Using the author’s descriptive derogatory terms, President Trump should politely decline the prize noting the unworthy recepients of the past two decades.

Good point, 2ndDiv... I found the list of Peace Prize Winners on
Wikipedia.
Even with exceptions of globalists such as Barack Obama and the European Union on the list, there are solid peacemakers and honorable people who earned the Prize.

Dennis Rodman! Good thought! More likely the award would be shared with Kim Jong-un perhaps.
