Well this is my 2nd installment in my legal battle of legendary titans: The showdown between me and Jeffrey Bozos.
Just as a matter of record, are you aware that Mr. Bozos made something like 40 billion dollar last year. And I come along and asked for a paltry, measly, infinitesimally small teeny weeny, baby amount of a mere 600 dollars for their negligence and another about 4,000 for the poor business practices and he's not willing to part with a dime. Hmm, let's see. I'm not good with math but 40 billion minus 4,950 dollars = well, he's got a heck of a lot more than I've got. I thought Jeffrey was a man of the people but it seems that Jeffry is a man Jeffrey. Haven't heard a word, it's the old Nixonian Stonewall. I guess this is his version of giving back to the people. So, the 2nd installment. Where are you Jeffrey? I'm callin' you out, show yourself. Quit hiding behind those ten foot stacks of hundred dollar bills. Time to man up, if that is in fact, possible for you. Pass it on, let's go viral.

Poor business practices? Poor business practices woudl be compensating every customer who ever lost or had a product stolen.
Did Jeff Bezos steal your gift cards? I am given a lot of them in my business and they go in the safe and are treated like cash

According to your rationale, if you sell a lawn mower to your neighbor for $100, and a third party later steals that lawn mower, you owe your neighbor $100. Have I got that right?

Maybe this guy believes that amazon could somehow cancel and void the cards....as far as i know he would need the numbers under the scratch off material on the back to do so.

Yeah, I’m not getting the complaint, other than Amazon didn’t cancel those memberships you bought. It isn’t their responsibility to replace them. They might if they wanted to be nice but are in no way obligated to do so. It wasn’t their car the cards were stolen out of.
If someone stole, say, 3 baseball gloves out of your car; do you think the store you bought them from would be on the hook to replace them? Of course not. You would make a complaint through the local police dept who would turn it into a statistic and you would need to go buy 3 more gloves to replace them. End of story.
You might want to tread lightly if you want to pursue this here on the trajectory you’re currently on. Do you think the rest of us haven’t lost money or something along the way and just had to brush ourselves off then soldier on? As the old saying goes; “shit happens”.
Serious legal issue at play here. Is this frivolous enough that Bezos will be awarded attorneys fees as a sanction?
I wouldn’t want to bet against it.
