House Republicans had to scramble late Wednesday night to fix a drafting error in a conservative immigration bill that would have accidentally given President Donald Trump $125 billion for border security, including his wall instead of the $25 billion intended.
The error, which happens occasionally during legislative drafting accidentally allocated $25 billion per year for five years rather than allocating the $25 billion over a five-year period.
The error, first reported by Politico, was just one of the last-minute hiccups that's unfolded around the House's immigration votes, which will occur later today and aren't likely to pass. House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows, a conservative from North Carolina, also confronted House Speaker Paul Ryan on the House floor over which version of a conservative immigration bill had been sent to the House Rules Committee just moments before the panel convened to go over the bills....

I heard the talking points in the conservative bill were not what was actual in the bill and the Freedom Caucus pulled out support rightfully so.

It is an absolute lie that there is money for the wall. Mark Meadows, the head of the freedom Caucus, confronted paul rino and withdrew the entire freedom cause ( 38) from support because the wall is not there or is something less that 2 losy billion. There were numerous other lies. The bill was not published for reading until yesterday and was to be voted on today. That has been halted after the lies were discovered. These people are frauds and bribed to payback special interests. If you review , as I have< their campaign spending it is full of relatives and spouses who kick back millions to these bastards. And today we started catch and release of illegal alien felons if they come here with someone’s kid. This is not a good day.

Clerical error? I doubt. Purposeful sabotage maybe to scuttle the bill. Of course with the appropriate tip off to the MSM.
