I've been using Bing for a few years now, since I finally got sick of Google's endless parade of commie-celebrating "art".
Bing was always nicely photographic, usually just nature and points of interest.
But today, its POI is a Minneapolis bridge with "pride" multi-colors on it. (And yes, they do describe their pix, so it's on there specifically.)
So now what? Are there any engines that don't seem to put any agenda down?
duckduckgo?
Dittos for DuckDuckGo!!
I have been using it for years!
https://www.startpage.com/ , set the settings at top right
DuckDuckGo’s results are a compilation of “over 400” sources, including Yahoo! Search BOSS; Wikipedia; Wolfram Alpha; Bing; its own Web crawler (the DuckDuckBot); and others. DuckDuckGo earns revenue by serving ads from the YahooBing search alliance network, and through affiliate relationships with Amazon and eBay.
So, BING has become BUTT?
Or perhaps BINGBUTT?
Badda bing, badda boom.
A quick tutorial on how to change my search engine to duckduckgo?
Go to “preferences”. It’s listed on my computer under “Safari” but yours may be different, I don’t know.
If you use a VPN, a different Bing page opens up for the country you are signed into. The rainbow bridge showed up on my laptop because I don’t use a VPN on that, but when I turned on my desktop, and signed in with my VPN from Toronto, Canada, there was a picture of a monastery in Baden-Wurttenburg, Germany. And to be frank, I’m not going to give up getting my Bing rewards just because one day they show an evening view of a bridge with rainbow colors. At least they honor military and other holidays appropriately, unlike other search engines.
“Whoa! Bomb-o”
I have switched to DuckDuckGo and have absolutely NO complaints!
DuckDuckGo
That’s what I use... after Bing.
What is BING? (Said in the voice of the guy who said “What is Macy’s?)
I like that actor - seen him in many films. I liked him in Radioland Murders also in Black Dog.
StartPage.com is holding up so far. It’s affiliated with creepy google, but privacy policy is pretty good.
Someone is going to have to come up with jazzy, catchy names or it won’t sell. That sounds silly, but true.
I have seen names that are trying to compete with facebook, and none seem to grab the eye or the attention.
I am sure FRs would find the right word, because they are very, very clever.
Bing is Microsoft.
Microsoft is Bill Gates.
Bill Gates is the Gates Foundation.
The Gates foundation provides clean water in poor villages. Oh, and also has written papers about poisoning that same water supply with contraceptives to eliminate or decimate the serving population.
They also create proposals and plans to reduce population throughout the planet.
Bing is Eugenics. So is Windows. Every electronic product supports some sort of evil BS.
