What a bunch of cr@p. Someone buy that rag for the $1 it’s currently worth and put us out of our misery!

The last one of Trump weathering the storm is supposed to be negative, but I love it. It shows him looking unperturbed in spite of all the crap the fake news media hurls at him.

Time has been reduced to a six-page brochure in the dentist’s office. It’s currently third in overall readership, behind “Healthy Molars” and “Smile, brace-face, it’ll all be worth it!”.

Stationed overseas in the 1950s, my folks subscribed to TIME when the cover price was $.25 an issue.
What’s the price today ?

It’s just a left-wing print blog that is still in circulation because some old white Democrats like Crowley haven’t dropped dead quite yet.

I think it mostly comes "free" thru mileage offers and such just so that they can sell some ads for revenue.

They’re down to what, ten pages total in each issue?

And you wonder why the Establishment Media got the moniker Fake News. A moniker that has stuck because we live in the Internet Age.

Short answer... Nobody.

It was a relevant rag prior to 1980... Then came Reagan. Reagan sent what was already a left wing media completely over the edge... They claimed (wrongly) that it was a neck and neck race between Reagan and Carter... The true polls, those opened for voting on election day, proved them of wrong, not as wrong as the 2016 election but pretty close to that.

They hated Reagan and railed against him for 8 years and since then, Time and the rest of the left-wing press has shown their obvious bias towards left leaning Democrats, and against Republican’s of any sort, except the odd RINO like Dole, or McCain who they root for to win the Republican nomination so that the weak Democrat nominee such as Obama, or Clinton can actually win.

The press hasn’t been honest for decades and that’s why Trumps claim that they mostly produce ‘Fake’ news rings so true. They’ve tainted themselves to the point where they are completely ignored and not credible anymore.

Too bad, so sad.

It was such a "close race" that the networks had pretty much called the race for Reagan by 8:30 IIRC.

One thing that FOX Sports Radio host Colin Cowherd points out (correctly) is that the Establishment Media mostly operates in a very "tight" cultural bubble centered around New York City, Los Angeles and (to a slightly lesser extent) Washington, DC. The Establishment Media essentially are the akin to the denizens of the fictional capital of Panem from the Hunger Games novel trilogy with its amoral, indulgent, parochial and sanctimonious attitude.

The problem with journalism is the lack of ethics being taught in our schools of journalism. These kids graduate with the idea that they are activists for a cause and not purveyors of unbiased news. They are doing their jobs exactly the way they were taught in university.

Whenever I see a Time magazine, I look for the postage paid subscription card and confiscate it. I wouldn’t want anyone to take it and mail it in without subscribing. Then I hide the magazine behind other magazines, or put it into the trash.

The pictures are worth thousands of words.

The media has opted to take a militant biased road they didn’t take decades ago.

I read TIME in a doctor’s office. It’s much thinner than it used to be.
