I sorta object to the word port being bastardized like this.

I once worked with a girl who was Miss Dillon. She was unusually pretty even for a beauty queen. Also really nice and a good worker.

There's some big ones that come through there. On my way to Florida last year, I stayed at a Marriott in Savannah and had a view of the Savannah river. Those ships must have been 20 stories tall all stacked up with containers of cargo.

Always wondered what was in those containers.

Ship’s home port says Rostock—former East Germany.

Are they going to use submarines to get to the port? Because some of the bridges across the river are mighty low over the water.

Port of Savannah is surrounded by big box retailers (Wal-Mart/Home Depot/IKEA/Target) southeastern distribution centers.....so what is in those containers is everything including the kitchen sink.

It’s actually pretty slick. Shippers can drop-off, pick-up and store their container in Dillon or Greer. CXS and Norfolk Southern operate daily trains to and from Charleston. That frees up a lot of space in Charleston, keeps a lot of trucks off I-26 and I-95 and encourages shipments through Charleston rather than competing ports.
