Will Trump Reverse Obama Bill Giving Rich Presidents Tax Funded Lifetime Bodyguards?

Why Are American Tax Payers Paying to Protect Rich Former Presidents? – Stupidity?

Rich former presidents showing that they have no problem taking from the people, even when they don’t have to. Actions continue to speak for the content of character of every being that lives on planet Earth. A bill, the Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012, reverses a previous law that limited Secret Service protection for former presidents and their families to 10 years if they served after 1997. Under the law Obama signed, he, former President George W. Bush and future former presidents will receive Secret Service protection for the rest of their lives. Children of former presidents up to the age of 16 are assured protection under the new law. thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-r…presidents

When the nation was shutting down under budget cuts, and national monuments and parks closed, did any of the rich presidents lose their lifetime tax funded body guard service? If the bill Obama passed giving presidents who have profited from the wars they have waged in the world isn’t theft from the American people, leaving out Jimmy Carter and his family was a true testament of a NON-AMERICAN ACT! Do they hate the Carter family, for being to American? The family that left the White House that didn’t rob the citizens and tried to do their best? The only thing that is for sure, is that Clinton’s, Obama’s, and Bush’s have plenty of money, homes, and assets to pay for their own protection!

Even aside from the main argument, the crazy is strong in that one.

Funding office space? The government must have spare office space somewhere in the United States. Funding thousands of square feet in expensive cities is not required in the virtual world of the 21st century. How about one shared office to support ex presidents on a military base? Mail processing and scheduling of appointments can be handled for all of them by a shared pool of administrative help. Pay for each ex president to have one confidential secretary for the first 10 years after leaving office. All other services to be performed by the shared pool. After 10 years the ex president should be fully retired or able to pay for his/her own administrative support.

As for Secret Service protection, that is a cost we will have to bear for the president and his spouse for their lifetimes. Unfortunately we live in a world where they are targets of terrorist and psychopaths.

Don't get emotionally side tracked .... the point of the article is;

IF THEY'RE WEALTHY.

Former Presidents can and DO command high speaking fees.

They can pay for their own stuff.

President Trump has been a beacon shining the way for Presidents to act regarding what they take from we, the people.

We don’t want an execution video of any ex president. SS protection is simply a sad necessity in this world.

Since Obama governed in bad faith, deliberately trashing our economy and committing serial acts of treason, they should pass a law explicitly making him the ONLY former president permanently denied protection. Let his violence-happy commie revolutionary buddies protect him. He and has ideological friends stole enough from the American people to pay for a million years of protection.

Americans demand a “Leave Office,Go Home and Shut Up, “ bill.

We’re sick of seeing the Clintons and Obama cheapening the presidency, getting rich exploiting the office of the presidency.

These activities should be banned by law.

No he will not. He will simply assign different people.

The Bushes, Clinton and Obama will have their guards supplied in the future by the Bureau of Prisons instead of the Secret Service!

I am for Congress to limit secret service protections past a president’s term to just one year and just for the president and spouse, no other family memers. We need to quit treating former presidents and their families like “royalty”.

In this day and age, former Presidents get filthy rich upon leaving office via speaking “fees” and book deals.

Let them pay for their OWN security. We owe them nothing, democrat or republican.

Soetoro, the Clintons and the Bush clan all scammed enough tax dollars into their coffers to hire private security.
