I am sad for America. I guess I am also sad for myself, that I guessed wrong.

America has turned into dueling political dumpster fires. The left is currently losing its head more than the right. I can't fault Donald Trump for desiring a mid 20th century version of America. The problem is that we don't have the soul support for it. The left is so used to being where it is, that moving it is like moving a battleship -- it won't happen overnight. A faith revolution could help, but that has to be at the evangelistic level without politics.

God is angry at the left, chiefly. That's where the greatest sin is. However God is also angry at the right for thinking it can "heal our wound lightly." Christian principles flounder unanchored when faith isn't operating. We might joke around here with ideas like hanging all the lefties. But this is not possible nor would any modern Christian group want it.

I guess this is a soft opus. I'm not asking to never ever be here again, but only that it be as God wills. I think we all need to embrace humility as idealism will only burn us. And with that, sincerity. I dabbled in the Stormy Daniels threads only to find I couldn't stand before God -- that stuff is not conducive to the mind that God wants. There is no clean end by which to pick up a poop.

Please pray for America both left and right. Until a putative rapture we are all going to have to deal with one another.

Every once in a while we need to unplug. Turn off the TV, the news, the Internet, even Free Republic. Take a break. Get your mind back in the game. The true game that you’ve been speaking of here that is God’s will.

Take care my friend.

You are letting the media beat you down. I think it is better that we pray for revival (the non political aspect) and for the breakthrough that we feel so close to having. There is a rason why they are so agitate. We are getting close (i hope)

I don’t think it’s in God’s nature to ‘get angry’. That’s human business, and he leaves it to us to figure things out.

Take a cookie....you’ll feel right as rain.

It’s possible that the extreme left will make itself into such a ridiculous runt with unviable ideas that it will walk off the map, leaving “Trump democrats.”

Well the bible talks about an angry God, but people bring the anger on themselves by being stiff and proud and refusing to repent unto Him.

Let not your heart be troubled. The animating contest for freedom as Sam Adams called it is happening right now. And the good guys are starting to win.

It’s hard to know what the future holds. History is full of surprises.

Most of the clinically insane occupy high profile jobs in the media. The left’s numbers are large but concentrated in a few geographic areas, and their leadership and power brokers are a lot more radical than most of their rank and file.

I think we’re already starting to see a political realignment that they hadn’t banked on. It was evident even in Hussein’s remarks today. He’s just as crazy as the biggest radicals among them, but even he sees they’re out over their skiis and is trying to bring them back in (at least rhetorically - the only way they win).

I don’t see that happening, however. Their base got a taste of socialism and they want more. They’re alienating more and more voters with their incendiary rhetoric and insane ideas. It ain’t over yet.

Sometimes you have to step back and view the overall map. We are doing quite well. Things are happening behind the scenes that will make many Demo’s hair curl and limit their ability to appeal to their base. It is a good thing.

Let not your heart be troubled.

Jeff Sessions is on the job.

He is just waiting for Q’s secret, secret message hidden in a dump
before he pounces like a rabbit.

I really hope you’re right. But I believe in keeping my options conservative.

I just feel terrible about the political enmity. But maybe part of the left will repent and part retreat into an impotent sulk. God knows where souls are.

I’m not sad. When there are unusually great problems, it’s time for unusually great efforts. For example, the media problem,...

Look at the blurb written by Drudge for an AP piece. Those are his words, not in the headline or content.

“TRUMP IN THE DOG HOUSE!” linked to an AP piece.

As Nunes said, all of the big money media mouthpieces are working for the left and its corruption. No true American is going to be a part of that.

Here’s one solution. *Stop following news linkers.* Each of you, bookmark a list of good news sites on your own. Modify the list of bookmarks to improve it as you go. There’s no reason for us to be mentally lazy and stupid. There’s no reason for us to be feeding advertising/hit revenues to the domestic enemy.

my dear brother. i’m sorry you’re sad. there’s a reason. God’s way is not trivial. it’s a trial. but He is with you, waiting for you always, ready to lead. take the lesson and “let the dead bury the dead.” your life in “Moab” is over, look to your future in Jesus Christ. that’s where you’ll find your joy. may God bless and keep you where ever you sojourn.

I think you’re right. God put Law in place, and when people speak of the ‘anger’ of God, they’re referencing the reaction of Law upon those who violate it.

Everything is always as it should be. Our ‘job’ is simply to discern the right side of the Law, and stay on it.

As long as you are doing that to the best of your ability, there’s no need to become depressed. Everyone else has the same opportunity.

Well I’ve said that socialism is a false filler for where faith ought to be.

Your statement is right.

According to Maimonides, God does not have human form or emotions.

Only for understanding by the small minds of humans is there Holy Scriptures mentions of the long arm and outstretched hand of God, His walking with Adam or Noah, His anger at the sinners and turning His face away from them until they repented for their sins as David tried. God is unchanging and not like us in form.
