Maybe he's eccentric, but an inspiration to me, especially concerning the amount of physical work he is willing to devote to his ideas and "out-of-the-box" thinking.

It does, but that was a Hollyweird movie. Jamie is doing it for real. One day I hope to visit this area and discover for myself how bad the mosquitoes really are.
I've been places where I've had to break limbs off bushes to beat the mosquitoes off! Worse is when you don't have such luxury due to the need to remain undetected. lol
Today's technology helps overcome many inconvenience of the past, like no electricity, communication, food preservation, transportation, health, etc.
Jamie shared in another video his dream to colonize another planet. Then he realized we really don't know how to properly live on this one. I find that to be true, in many instances. For sake of our species, our societies need to become more independent, IMO.
I think that's actually what the Creator intended. :)
