Just don’t let your wife catch you eating hydroponic veggies.

No food value to Hydro-grown vegies!

We desperately need the minerals in the soil.

If your soil is depleted, burn fallen timber and disc it into the soil.

Minerals are added to the fluid, often at ideal quantities specific to the requirements of the plant.

Only water soluable minerals can be added.

Most of the necessary minerals are not soluable.

Hydroponics is a joke at best.

Which minerals required by plants, are not water soluble?

1000 heads of lettuce at 3 bucks each... raised by a robotic arm at 50k each...

Wow you can turn a healthy profit of two months rent in only 30 years.

I’m pretty sure the robot costs a lot less than $50,000.

I prefer robot farmed food over illegals and socialists handling my food.

Robots mean we do not need trespassers to harvest our food....right?

It’s cute when city slickers try farming in the city.

Re: “Most of the necessary minerals are not soluble."

OK.

So, what physical process moves the minerals from the soil into the plant?

.
The soil provides for reactions that a tank of water can’t.

Minerals taken up from soil are usually due to combustion on the surface at some point in the past, or wood ash being dumped on the top and mixed in.

Puting ash in the tank is of no help, it sinks to the bottom or floats on the top.
