CNN correspondent Jim Acosta discusses his question to press secretary Sarah Sanders, when she refused to say that the press was not the enemy of the American people. Acosta was so distressed that he walked out of Thursday's press briefing.
Acosta came up with an idea to combat the 'CNN sucks' chants of Trump supporters: "I think maybe we should make some bumper stickers. Make some buttons, you know maybe we should go out on Pennsylvania Avenue like these folks who chant CNN sucks and fake news, maybe we should go out, all journalists should go out on Pennsylvania Avenue and chant we're not the enemy of the people because I'm tired of this."
Acosta said he just "tired of this" and called the 'fake news' attack "unfair." The CNN White House correspondent also said he felt "sorry" for the treatment Sarah Huckabee Sanders suffered at a restaurant in Virginia.
"Honestly, Brooke, I'm tired of this," Acosta fretted. It is not right. It is not fair. It is not just. It is un-American to come out here and call the press the enemy of the people and Ivanka Trump knows that. I don't know why her father doesn't....

Maybe the geniuses at CNN, could reflect on why they have allowed their once-championship channel to fall so enormously in the public eye.

I can’t think of any amount of abuse, however violent, unwarranted, or otherwise, that should result in a grown ass man talking about making buttons for a cause.

On second thought, Jim’s buttons should say “CNN Doesn’t Suck!” ... those would work better ... sort of like Nixon’s “I Am Not a Crook!” buttons ...
Remember the ribbon for everything fad? Maybe he can start up one of those with donations from some of the Hollywood types..

The proposed buttons will counter the “CNN sucks” meme with a “CNN blows” meme.
I think all the journalists who want to support Acosta should wear armbands.

But they are not willing to do that - it would mean being objective, and they are committed to manipulating the public for their political Party.
