The media is abuzz (again) about Donald Jr’s meeting with Russians at Trump Tower to get dirt on Hillary.
Trump’s critics immediately pounced on the new story, the latest of several versions of events about a meeting for which emails were discovered between the president’s eldest son and an intermediary from the Russian government offering damaging information about Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton. - AP
Doesn’t matter that the meeting was truncated early on and nothing pursued. Still, in the mind of the media it’s way worse than having a paid agent of the Clinton campaign approaching Russian officials for damaging material on Trump.
By contrast, the Clinton campaign proactively sought dirt on Trump from Russian government sources…In April 2016, Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias retained opposition research firm Fusion GPS to compile incriminating information on Trump. Fusion GPS in turn hired Christopher Steele, a former British MI6 operative with sources among Russian government officials. The result was the salacious dossier, whose sources included “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure” and “a former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin.” Steele’s work was paid for by Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee. That means a paid agent of the Clinton campaign approached .
And now I understand the New York Times ran an editorial bemoaning the presence of children at President Trump’s rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, calling it “heartbreaking.”
Well you certainly wouldn’t want children participating in political events they couldn’t possibly know anything about,
or making political statements about things they couldn’t possibly comprehend. That would be child abuse.
Then again, when progressives want to take a pee they feel free to do it wherever they wish.
