What tipped you off, Timmy? – Apple CEO Tim Cook is worried that “humanity is being drained out of music.” It’s not about what you think, but it should be.
Tired of all this Winning yet? – Republican Troy Balderson won the special election for Ohio’s 12th district over Democat Danny O’Connor, denying the fake news media another excuse to rev up its “Blue Wave” narrative one more time. The race was very close, with Balderson prevailing by just 1,754 votes out of the 202,000 total votes cast. Absurdly, the two will face off again in the regular mid-term election in just three months. If the Democrats hope to prevail, they’ll have to clear out some more of the district’s cemeteries on Election Day.
Ok. Now do Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer. – The creeps who infest the West Hollywood city council voted Tuesday night to demand that those who manage Hollywood’s Walk of Fame to remove the star honoring Donald Trump. This move comes after the star has been repeatedly vandalized by criminal lunatics wielding axes and hoes. So, these Democrats do what Democrats always do and blame the inanimate object for the problem. So. Damn. Predictable.
To see “nutty people,” tour the halls of the state capitol building or the West Hollywood city council. – The LA Times editorial board is all verklempt about the latest secession – or “CalExit” – proposal making the rounds in the Golden State these days. This proposal would first have California secede from the Union, and then lop off a big chunk of the Eastern portion of the state to form an independent Native American nation.
In slamming the proposal, the Times ed board asks this burning question: “What is it about the Golden State that makes nutty people want to mess with its geography in ill-thought-out ways?” Hilariously, the question is posed without a hint of self-awareness or irony.
In the grand pantheon of horrible Democrat ideas, this one could be the worst yet. – Axios reports that Democrats, led by execrable Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, are circulating a raft of horrible legislative proposals they would attempt to pursue in 2019/2020 should they gain control of one or both houses of congress this November.
In keeping with their philosophy of “never let a good fake crisis go to waste,” one of the proposals would be for the federal government to essentially take over the Internet in order to keep those nasty Russians off of Facebook and Twitter. The Axios piece details a laundry list of proposals for command-and-control regulation from the feds that reads like something that would have come right out of the Soviet Union, a classic approach from social meddlers who think they’re smarter than everyone else and should have the power to tell the rest of us how to act.
All of this in the face of the fact that, after two years of Democrat/media-promoted hysteria over “Russian meddling” in our elections, there remains no evidence whatsoever that the amateurish efforts allegedly perpetrated by Russian interests during 2016 impacted a single vote. But the “crisis” has been generated, Robert Mueller has indicted a bunch of Russian ham sandwiches who will never stand trial, and now’s the time in the Democrat hive mind to push for a government takeover, which is how they always respond to every issue, real or imagined.
Democrats: If they didn’t exist, no person in their right mind would even dream of making them up.
Wait. Why isn’t this guy standing trial again? – Speaking of Robert Mueller and his gang of Clinton/Obama hacks, their star witness in the Paul Manafort trial, Manafort’s former partner Rick Gates, admitted on the witness stand yesterday that he stole millions of dollars from his boss, bought his mistress a London apartment with some of the proceeds, regularly misclassified income as “loans” in order to avoid taxes, and “probably” embezzled funds from the Trump Inauguration Committee.
Gates also admitted to lying to Mueller’s investigators in an interview this past January, a process crime for which Mueller has already obtained two guilty pleas from other subjects of his investigation. Gates, an already admitted liar, was awarded immunity instead so that he could spill the beans on Manafort. Mueller hoped that by taking this action, he could pressure Manafort, himself an admitted liar, to turn and spill the beans on President Trump or someone closer to him.
Instead, we get this show trial on charges for crimes that took place years before Donald Trump ever thought about running for president, with Gates’s admission to committing a crime against Trump and his inauguration committee the only thing even tangentially related to the current President of the United States of America.
Your “Justice” Department in action, folks.

On “Dummy media” outlets, the Balderson race is still “too close to call” and “ballots remain uncounted” so as to extend the drama. AKA - straw-grasping as Olympic sport...
The way I see it and hope the jury does too is that Mueller’s team tells Gates they have him on charges that could carry a 100 year prison term. Then, they tell Gates that if he cooperates they can can reduce that to probation on a single charge of lying to the FBI.
To me, that is a bribe. Mueller is bribing a witness to say what he wants. I hope the jury sees it that way and acquits Manafort and I’m no fan of Paul Manafort.
I have a feeling the judge doesn’t like the deal Gates is getting and that’s why he has been tough on the prosecution.
Because Rick runs with the rats now. They’ll never touch him on this.

The best defense is an excellent offense. Time for Manafort to file suit for millions against Gates and press for discovery.
If the margin remains tight, expect a court challenge with a cherry picked judge.
