A women’s studies professor predicts President Trump’s supporters, whom she calls “overt racists,” will “provoke violence” when Trump leaves the Oval Office – even if it is after two terms.
Julie Novkov, chair of the political science department at the State University of New York at Albany, concludes in a recent article for New Political Science that Trump supporters having political power is “dangerous.”
She defines core Trump supporters as overt racists who view immigrants, blacks, Muslims, and Jews as “enemies of the American state” and are “particularly inclined to embrace propaganda."
The public university professor argues there are no good options for the country with Trump supporters in power.
“At best it might shift some areas of the country back to the political configuration common in some areas of the American south in the 1920s,” she wrote, “when gaudy populist racism vied with conservative, racist legitimation projects for hegemony entirely within the Democratic Party.”
The alternative, Novkov argues, is that Trumpers “could provoke violence and place the nation in the position of having to engage in its violent suppression.”
Whether it is impeachment, resignation, failure to win re-election, or death, Novkov believes Trump supporters will riot when he leaves office....

In other news, that Berkley professor caught beating a Trump supporter’s head with a bike lock was sentenced to six months probation, a sentence he will no doubt wear as a badge of honor in “intellectual” circles.
Easy fix ... have it so he doesn’t leave office, problem solved.
It depends on the circumstances of his leaving office. If he’s impeached, yeah, maybe. If he’s replaced by a fascist left-wing dictator, yeah, maybe.

There hasn’t been a single instance of “Trump supporters” provoking violence. There are hundreds of documented instances of Trumper supporters being the target of unprovoked violence by infantile insane Leftists.

On October 4, 2014 Michael Medved said on the air, during the national debate on the issue, that there was “no chance” that the Washington Redskins would be using that name in five years. I made a note to remind myself to send an email to him when that date passes and his lilly livered prediction is proven wildly off the mark.
Someone needs to remind this prof of this prediction in January 2025 when the usual orderly transition of power comes and goes.

Rhetorical question only - the answer is painfully obvious - once a single leftist ‘fellow traveler’ manages to worm their way into a position of authority within any institution, they will do whatever it takes to surround themselves with their own ilk while chasing away the sane and competent ones.
