PHILADELPHIA - Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins resumed his protest against social injustice during the playing of the national anthem prior to Thursday night's preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Defensive end Chris Long put his arm around Jenkins in a sign of support, as he did for much of last season. Defensive back De'Vante Bausby also raised a fist. Defensive end Michael Bennett appeared on the field during the playing of the anthem and walked behind his teammates, most of whom were lined up along the sideline.

Coming from a man who does public protests there are two major fails. The object of your protest has to be in reach. It isn’t. The protest isn’t about you, it’s about the message. You lose.
Time to do what this restaurant owner is doing to the NFL thugs disrespecting our anthem and everyone who has served in our military.

Wait, the NFL has a solution to the problem. They have hired gay men to be cheerleaders. See how easy that was?

My prediction last spring was if they force the blacks to stand during the anthem they would raise the black fist. What is their cause anyway? No Justice no peace? It appears to me their goal now is prison reform, i.e. to not arrest any black person no matter what they were engaged in.

You make ~8.7 million dollars a year and the Government takes over 2 million dollars from YOU.
You use the same or less government resources as someone making $50,000 per year. And yet, YOU pay $2,000,000 more than he does.

DIE NFL, DIE!
Trump called their bluff on the prison issue. He asked NFL players to give him the names of those they think deserve to be pardoned. Of course, they didn’t have any but mumbled generalities about prison reform. It proved these players have no idea what they are talking about. Just about every person in prison should stay there. They’re not a bunch of innocents who got long prison sentences for smoking a few joints.
I missed that “protest” and the message it was supposed to send. In fact, I will be missing the entire NFL season again this year. The League has terminal Colin cancer, and I’m looking forward to its death.
I used to be angry that the NFL went completely Marxist. So I fumed and stopped watching.
Now that has passed. I've moved on, and now I find it truly funny that this league is doing everything possible to eradicate itself from the face of the earth.
