President Trump speaking at a GOP Event in New York touted his administration's great success in unleashing American Energy, specifically citing the increased production of Clean Coal. He mocked former President Obama's dependence on "windmills," pointing out how windmills are dependent on the wind blowing and how easy it would be for enemies to knock windmills out. He called it "a killing field" for birds under the windmills too! . . . .

Wonder how much money the windmill companies threw into the pockets of the Dems, Sierra Club and Audubon Society to ignore all the dead birds. As it goes with the Left, as long as they achieve their goal, nothing else matters.
I hate windmills!!! What happened the environmental impact studies? These thing pollute eyesight!! This needs to stop and be taken down at owner expense. Now!!
Many people are starting to think the wind farms are effecting weather patterns. It does seem like the lighter showers seem to break up when they pass over a wind farm. Stronger heavy storms the effect is less or none at all.

How does he end all subsidies in the most dramatic fashion? Same for solar. The crap doesn’t work on it’s own. I say right after the November election. Ethanol ? Phase it out over 5 years. We need Iowa. Why did that old goat billionaire Republican from Texas-what’s his hame- go to bat for wind?
There some basis in physics for your theory. Same with the solar panels. It depends on what percentage of “energy is absorbed” relative to the overall energy of the system. Plus it might have a local effect on wind, temperatures, etc.
1. They are eyesores.
2. Break down frequently.
3. Generate a lot of audible noise.
4. Can often interfere with RF signals.
5. A major hazard to any bird flying nearby.

And when their life cycle is complete, it will cost a small fortune to dismantle and recycle them. Not to mention the enviornmental impact by all of the waste that will generate.
I am guessing B.O. is not living off the grid or using alternative energy sources.
And never will or would.

The "why" is easy. General Electric (NYSE:GE) has been a terrible performer, down about 55% over the past year while the S&P 500 has gained 13%, and the company is on shaky financial ground.
The Dow is supposed to be a collection of 30 companies that represent the overall performance of large U.S. companies. GE is no longer a good representative of how other companies of its size or in its sector are doing, so its removal makes perfect sense.
That's part of my #2 reason why they are a problem.
It is all about taking government taxpayer money via subsidiies or credits that we have to pay!! The kick backs are huge!! There are no funds for taking them down. Hundreds of thousands. They have a 3 year half life! Then they freeze and do nothing. I would stop them on invironmental grounds Now!! Solar is a total joke. One way to have the atmosphere warms the earth is with giant solar panels!! Bwaaaahhh!
Windmills cause global warming by slowing down the natural wind speeds.
That good. They are subsidized by billions of tax money. They need to be scrapped.

Renewable energy standards are set by the state govts and Obama had nothing to do with.
Texas set their first renewable standard in 1999, long before Obama came along.
Subsidies for renewable energy comes from congress.
Even from a regulatory standpoint, Obama's Clean Power Plan was never implemented and still sits in the DC Court of Appeals.
