It has been a tradition that intelligence officials and others in case they are called in to provide advice.

It is optional and should be reserved for those you trust and whose advice you value.

I dont think it applies in this case, especially someone who runs right to the LEFT MEDIA CARTEL for a big paycheck. I hope he gets hit hard in the pocketbook for his buffoonery.

A security clearance has noting to do with free speech.

The majority of dumb liberals will believe Brenner. That's why Brenner says those things which he knows not to be true, but his statements are meant for consumption by the ignorant masses.

No. They can't.

You are in every way ignoring the normal procedure, just as the author of this unmitigated drivel is.

I was in a battalion S2 shop in the early eighties, and then with various classified electronics classifications up until after the Soviet collapse. I knew men who worked in the Pentagon, and with various civilian weapons development projects.

Separation from the job has ALWAYS been accompanied by loss of the clearance.

There isn't any need to justify clearance revocation. It's generally been automatic.

What the idiot who wrote this crap should have been asking was who had somehow granted these people a clearance that they shouldn't have had.

Because he’s a marxist muslim high treason co-conspirator?

The question is why is he not at gitmo awaiting trial for treason?

My understanding is clearances are good for 5 years and must then be renewed. Separating from government service and going to work for beltway bandits has a higher value if your clearance is still, “good” otherwise the company has to pay for a renewal investigation.

I imagine a cabinet level official who has even higher clearances, retains that clearance even if the, “right to know” is limited.

I do believe it should end upon termination but, I don’t believe it does at that level of power. While they no longer have the right to know they can be shielded from prosecution if information lands on their laps.

As with everything I post, I could be wrong,

Normally when you are part of a coup to remove the president, you go to prison

Now that depends upon just exactly how many DC Control files you
managed to cram on the thumb drive while you still HAD your security clearance!!

How about this for a reason:

32 CFR §147 (Adjudicative Guidelines for Determining Eligibility for Access to Classified Information)

Take a look at (b)(4) -- sounds exactly like what he was doing on MSNBC.

Seems that he could do exactly the same thing for Clapper (CNN).

I’m sorry but what in the Hell is Trumps deal in reacting? That asshole should have lost security clearance the second his fat ass went out the door. Are me wonder what deep state access he has been looking at for the past year and a half? The idiot is a commie! For Godsake stop pussyfooting around and strip EVERYONE from the Carter admin on down, strip them of their security clearance!

With him and Comey in mind, that is why people who break the law must be prosecuted.

""He lied to congress under oath. So, why isn’t he being prosecuted or in prison by now?"

I guess we will have to ask Jeff Sessions about that or maybe the DOJ US Attorney stationed in Utah is still looking into that among other wrong doings.
