Bitter NeverTrumper Meltsdown when Called Out by Conservative on Security Clearances – Video 8/17/18

“Methinks thou dost protest too much!”

Here is video of bitter NeverTrumper Phil Mudd on CNN having a total meltdown last night because Conservative Paris Dennard actually called him and others with Security Clearances out for trading on those clearances to get consulting and commentating gigs. Mudd rose to prominence at CNN after he consistently trashed Donald Trump on air. CNN could bring him on as an “Intelligence Expert” and know he would always hammer Trump.

Here, Paris Dennard says it is widely known in Washington that if you have a Security Clearance you will get paid more money to consult with private firms. Mudd denied it by saying he doesn’t get paid anything BY THE US GOVERNMENT because of his clearance. Dennard caught his sleight of hand and said he wasn’t talking about pay from the Federal Government, but private entities.

Mudd got so angry he told Paris to “get out,” to which Paris replied, “It’s not your show,” and “Don’t be so defensive.”

In a word – Destroyed! . . . .

Corruption in the swamp is so common place that it operates openly and defiantly.

Leave the slot, leave the clearance. What is so hard to understand?

yup just like when people leave other jobs, all access to anything other than public access is terminated too.

I believe that policy is what the deep state insiders are so desperate to prevent. They don't want to surrender their lucrative niches as high level experts.

Technically, it’s their (lack of) NEED TO KNOW that prevents their access to intelligence updates after they leave their jobs, regardless if they still have a clearance. The clearance will expire in 5 years or so, but they don’t have a NEED TO KNOW about anything, even the stuff they worked on.

Right, it’s like me saying to my prior employer “I need to continue to have inside information because I have a consulting gig. Oh, and I’m consulting for one of your competitors.”

I’m sure Brennan was paid well during his employment. Theres nothing more owed.

They could always reapply for a security clearance at the new job. I think that’s the crux of the problem. Not many could actually pass a real security clearance background check without political favors being involved. That would expose the fraud of the deep state.

Strzok, Brennan and Mudd are seriously disturbed power hungry pricks. The list grows as they expose themselves.

How many former employees still have keys to the building once they have become former employees?

That was brilliant! I love how that guy just calling that jerk out for misrepresenting the accusation without letting up on him. Who was that guy anyway? Does he work for the WH? If not, he should.

I think its a safe bet that these 75 supposed “patriots” who Mudd claims gave up so much to work as CIA bureaucrats on behalf of “the country” have parlayed their contacts and their continuing security clearances into massively paying contractor, consultant or think tank jobs. No, Boiling Mudd, I really have no thanks for any of the intelligence dorks who assured the American people Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, or that the Iraq War would be a cakewalk or that one of the few Arab countries with a modern society and economy (no matter how corrupt) would not need a functioning bureaucracy or government after the US/UK invasion. No, we don’t owe any “thanks” to such arrogant cretins - they owe eternal penance and apologies to the families of those killed and maimed due to their incompetent neocon fantasies.

And how many media persons would retain their jobs if they were critical of their media employers? Brennan is not employed by the govt and can, and does, say whatever he wants at any time but he is not entitled in any way to a govt security clearance. If these former high level govt employees have a security clearance, however limited, then every ex govt employee at any level is also entitled to have one. Yank them all, top to bottom. Renew when necessary.
