All the idiots who clamor for “Medicare for all” or single payer should go visit their local V.A. hospital.

He must have been covered by Medicare and TriCare for Life.
In addition The Congress has their own GENEROUS health care plan.

FYI - McCain, as a retired Naval Officer - was eligible for Tri-Care for life....

As a sitting Senator - he was eligible to participate the the Federal Employment Health Benefit Program (FEHB) - and sign up for one of a wide variety of plans that were available to government workers in the D.C. area.

Obamacare was so bad that members of Congress exempted themselves and had a much better plan for themselves.

Typical case of what is good for us peons is not good enough for them the elites.
