They are going after Trumps businesses, and Sessions isn’t defending Trump from malicious prosecutions. Rosenstein ordered the US attorney in New York appointed to replace the vile disgraced Preet, to recuse himself and let all the Dems still in the office go after all of Trumps businesses looking for crimes they never went after when he wasn’t our President.
So if Trump is the last businessman to ever run for President we can blame the Dems.

Contrast this with so-called "businessmen" who are really corporatists. They have no skin in the game. The get paid fabulous salaries whether they make money or lose money. They are really employees of the Deep State. Rex Tillerson is a prime example of this type of so-called "businessman".
Real businessman like President Trump are very, very, rare in the public sphere.

Mid term elections should be interesting given all the voting fraud (outdated voter registrations, provisional votes, early voting irregularities, hacked servers, lost or misplaced votes, reversing recounts in close elections, mathematical impossibilities etc. to name a few) that always transpire during elections.
If it is business as usual the DOJ should be very busy prosecuting those 120 yo, under 18 yo, and other illegal riff-raff that will be voting in the mid terms. Not to mention election officials who ignore the voting checks and procedures.
If Sessions turns the other cheek, there is going to be hell to pay. The people want to see some action. The jails are full, the courts are clogged, but a hefty fine (to pay down the national debt), public service (San Francisco/San Diego could use some more poop shovelers) or deportation to the motherland of their choice might help.
