Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Russell Okung said that he plans to show a video of Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-Texas) defending NFL players' on-field protests during a meeting with league executives and owners on Monday.
"At today's meeting between @NFLPA reps & @NFL execs/owners, I plan to share this viral video of @RepBetoORourke being asked if NFL players kneeling is disrespectful," Okung, vice president of the NFL Players Association, tweeted.

Agree ‘Beto’ comes across as more likeable, more charismatic than Cruz which always fools more shallow people of which there are many el stupidos. This is just more evidence of what is in this polished DemoRat’s heart. Cruz will win but he has to up his game.
For this O’Rourke clown to say that it isn’t disrespectful is literally among the stupidest things he could have said. Why? Because the point - to begin with - is players were kneeling because they COULD NOT HONOR A FLAG THAT REPRESENTED AN UNJUST COUNTRY. Therefore, it had to be disrespectful, in order to get their dismal point across.

Freaking Beto is everywhere here in Dallas. Cruz is nowhere to be found.
Even if Cruz is conceding Dallas, the suburbs in the Metroplex are definitely ready to vote for him again — IF HE ASKS THEM.
I am really frustrated since Cruz is only up by 1 point — in MULTIPLE POLLS.
I know what we say about polls and 2016 but this is really looking grim and Cruz is pretending there is no election at all.
